The Queen's 90th birthday festivities continued today with a classic British street party.
The Mall in St James’s Park was transformed to host The Patron’s Lunch, an event celebrating The Queen’s patronage of over 600 charities and organisations.
The inclement British weather dampened the festival-themed atmosphere but the mood and weather changed when the royals arrived!
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new sheath dress by Roksanda Ilincic. She was in the London-based designer's'Marwood' color-block wool-crepe dress (£980). The fit dress features block colours of blue, sorbet and blush. It is finished with an exposed zip along the back.

The Queen officially celebrated her 90th birthday today with the Trooping the Colour parade. Although Her Majesty was born on 21 April, it has long been the tradition to publicly celebrate the Monarch's birthday on a day in the summer.
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge attended her six consecutive Trooping the Colour event. During the parade, Catherine rode in a carriage with Prince Harry and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Meanwhile, Prince William was on horseback alongside his father and Princess Anne, in their roles as Colonels.
The young Cambridge's stole the show today, with Princess Charlotte making her debut balcony appearance.
Year after year Kate has favoured light colours for this event. Today was no exception.
She brought back her cream Alexander McQueen coat dress from Princess Charlotte's Christening. The custom creation features signature McQueen styling with a a wide lapel, peaked shoulders and a fit-and-flare silhouette.
Today, Kate donned a new powder pink sinamay hat by Irish milliner, Philip Treacy. The molded slice hat features rosettes under the brim, and is from the label's S/S 2016 collection.
The Duchess wore her Mappin & Webb 'Empress' necklace and surprised us with a new pair of oversized pearl earrings.
They are the Balenciaga Eugenia Pearl Clip Earrings (US$745). The Italian made earrings feature round naturally colored freshwater cultured pearls set in silvertone brass with crystals.
Mabé pearl earrings were a signature style of the late Princess Diana. Below we show her wearing a pair for Trooping the Colour in 1988.
Kate carried her blush Mulberry 'Baywater' suede clutch.
It was such a treat to see the extended royal family enjoying the celebrations for the Monarch's landmark birthday.

Today marked the start of a weekend of celebrations for the Queen's 90th birthday. It began with the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral. Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh were joined by 53 members of the royal family including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
William, Kate and Harry arrived together for this morning's service.
The guest of honour made her way into the Cathedral with the Duke of Edinburgh, who is celebrating his 95th birthday today! Happy birthday Prince Philip!
Kate wore a new pale blue coatdress from Catherine Walker.
The Venetian wool coatdress combines elements from the designer's Rosa and Melrose styles. Kate's bespoke design has an embroidered overlay with extends just beyond the hemline, giving the front of the coat a scalloped edge.
The Duchess wore her bespoke cream Jane Taylor hat, first seen for Princess Charlotte’s christening. For jewelry, Kate donned a new pendant necklace paired with her aquamarine and diamond drop earrings. She has worn the earrings on many occasions but they still remain unidentified.
Kate carried her new favorite clutch, the 'Nina' from L.K. Bennett.
They are the 'Gianvito 105' style by Gianvito Rossi. However, the exact colour is unknown. There are a few options available from different stockists in a similar hue. They could in fact all be the same colour but each retailer may have it's own name for the shade. Variations in colour between the stock photos is expected because they would have been taken under different lighting conditions.
ID UPDATE (15/06/2016):
I've been in contact with Gianvito Rossi and they have confirmed that Kate wears their Gianvito 105 suede pumps in 'Praline'. This is the official name of the colour. Stockists such as Net-a-Porter have renamed the shade in their description, hence the confusion. As I suspected, all these shoes are actually the same hue!
A closer look at Kate's glamorous up-do.
I'll leave you with one of my favorite images from today's service. See you tomorrow for Trooping The Colour!

This evening, the Duchess of Cambridge attended a special gala dinner to celebrate the 40th anniversary of SportsAid at her London home in Kensington Palace.
Kate has been the patron of the charity since 2013, whose aim is to help Britain’s next generation of Olympians, Paralympians and world champions in dealing with the financial difficulties faced early in their careers.
At the event, Kate mingled with SportsAid ambassadors, alumni and young athletes set to compete in the forthcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The Duchess was back in her favourite colour this evening. She premiered a gorgeous royal blue floor-length dress by Roland Mouret. The Duchess wore the designer's 'Nansen' cold-shoulder gown (US$3,710). It is currently available at Roland Mouret, Saks, My Theresa, and Harvey Nichols.
The dress is crafted in luxurious double crepe, and features a v-neckline and off-the shoulder detailing, while the body-skimming skirt gently flares from the knee. The 'Nansen' gown is also available in black and apricot pink.
This is the third dress in Kate's closet from the French fashion designer. In 2011, she wore the label's 'Manon' fitted sheath, and in 2012 she debuted the off-white 'Lombard'/'Ella' slit gown.
Tonight, Kate teamed the gown with black accessories: her Prada black satin clutch with stone embellishment, and what appears to be her Gianvito Rossi 'Sisely' Black Suede Sandals.
The Duchess showcased a new pair of dazzling hoop earrings.
They are the $49,000 Cartier Diamond Tricolor Gold Trinity Hoop Earrings (collectively identified @TheRoyalsAndI and @AnnieElizabethN)! The 18-carat earrings features pavé diamonds as well as three intertwined circles of pink, yellow and white gold.
The earrings are a match for her Cartier Trinity Necklace. The necklace and earrings may have been given to Kate as part of a set, but that’s not confirmed.
We'll see Kate again tomorrow when she joins the Queen and other members of the royal family for a National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral in honour of Her Majesty's 90th birthday.
