The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Festival of Remembrance this evening.
The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts and it is usually attended by the Royal Family. It is organized by the Royal British Legion and is held every year on the eve of Remembrance Sunday.
William and Kate joined the Queen, Prince Philip and other senior members of the Royal Family at London's Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion's traditional televised service.
As expected, Kate wore an all-black ensemble.
She debuted the Temperley London 'Callas' evening coat. It must have been hanging in her closet for a couple of years because the piece is from the designer's pre-fall 2014 collection.
Here's a view of the back.
A black coat has a floral diamond jacquard fabric made from a blend of 41% Wool, 32% Polyester, 27% Acetate, and lined with 100% silk. The fitted jacket is secured with a button through front and features and gathered waist and A-line bottom. It is finished with a high neck.
Kate carried her black Pretty Ballerinas Velvet Bow Clutch which has also been hiding in her closet for sometime.
She has only carried it on two previous occasions. The first was at the Sun Military Awards in 2011, and the second for the War Horse premiere in 2012.
On her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Black Suede Pumps.
Kate accessorized with her Oscar de la Renta hammered gold-plated faux pearl earrings.
The Duchess did wear a poppy brooch in support of the Royal British Legion but unfortunately we were unable to get a good glimpse of it. It does appear to be one of Buckley London's designs which you can purchase from The Poppy Shop.
Tomorrow, Kate is expected to join members of the royal family for the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations led by Queen Elizabeth at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.
