This evening, the Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William on the red carpet for her first British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards ceremony at Royal Albert Hall in London.
William, President of BAFTA and Kate got a round of applause from A-list celebrity guests as they entered the Hall to take their seats.
For the black-tie event, Kate chose a bespoke version of an Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 collection black gown with a floral motif.
She had the US$7,765 Alexander McQueen Long Tier Violet Jacquard Dress modified with an off-the-shoulder silhouette.
Kate carried a new Alexander McQueen Heart-clasp satin box clutch.
The US$2,158 clutch bag is crafted to a box shape that's set around a gold-tone metal frame, and features a two-tone heart-shaped metal clasp that glimmers with sparkling red crystals and faux-pearls.
In the photo below we got a glimpse of the black Prada Suede Cutout Wave Pumps which she first wore for the Place2Be "Wellbeing in Schools" Awards in November 2016.
The off-the-shoulder dress looked dazzling with her hair done in an gorgeous up-do and statement earrings.
The earrings are not new and @AnnieElizabethN informs us Kate first wore them to the 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala in October 2011.
Their designer or provenance is unknown and Kensington Palace has confirmed they are not on loan from the Queen. Here's a closer look at the exquisite tear drop earrings featuring a large pink gem stone surrounded by diamonds and set in gold.
She did however borrow the Queen's diamond bracelet - a wedding gift to HM from Prince Philip. The hefty bracelet set with diamonds from a tiara once belonging to his mother, Princess Andrew of Greece. The Duchess has worn the piece on previous occasions.
A better look at Kate's elegant up-do.
We'll see the Duchess again on Tuesday when she visits an RAF base in Cambridgeshire to meet with local air cadets.
