The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge visited Manchester today for a variety of engagements.
Kate stepped out wearing a new coat by Erdem. The check coat is from the Canadian designer's Resort 2016 collection.
She also donned a new pair of earrings by Oscar de la Renta (US$190).
The stud faux pearl earrings feature a hammered gold-plated pewter trim. The earrings are currently available at Net-a-Porter, Far Fetch, Moda Operandi, Zappos, and Harrods.
The Duchess supplemented the outfit with familiar navy suede accessories. She armed herself with the LK Bennett 'Frome' Navy Suede Clutch, and on her feet were the Rupert Sanderson 'Malory' Navy Suede Pumps.
Under the coat we got a glimpse of a lace garment, the same one she wore beneath a Paule Ka suit in April 2012. What Kate Wore offers a comparative look:

William and Kate's busy day in Manchester began at The National Football Museum, where they attended a reception and met with some young Mancunians who are making a difference in their communities before taking a tour of the museum. Prince William tried out the penalty shootout simulator.
The royal couple then visited the Manchester Town Hall for a WWI Centenary event at the city's Cenotaph. William & Kate laid a wreath and honoured Manchester's six Victoria Cross recipients.
The Duke & Duchess then headed to The University of Manchester’s National Graphene Institute. The facility is focused on the research of graphene, a thin layer of carbon with properties 100 times stronger than steel. They toured state-of-the-art cleanrooms and laboratories, and meet some of the researchers and industry partners. They were also shown some of the applications of graphene including the world’s first graphene car.
The couple’s final stop was at Francis House Hospice, opened 25 years ago by Diana, Princess of Wales. The hospice is a care center for terminally ill youngsters who may never reach adulthood. William & Kate toured a new £3.5 million wing and meet staff, patients, volunteers and family members.
