The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge started Day 2 of Royal Visit Canada aboard a seaplane! This morning they took a scenic flight from Victoria to Vancouver for a day of engagements in the bustling west coast seaport of British Columbia.
Kate paid tribute to the host country by wearing an ensemble inspired by the colours of the Canadian flag.
Her eye-catching red and white frock is a bespoke Alexander McQueen broderie anglaise dress based on a piece from the designer's Resort 2017 collection. The dress featured a studded mandarin collar, button-front bodice and tiered skirt with scalloped trim. Kate's dress was customized with regular long sleeves and white barrels cuffs.
On Kate's feet were a new pair of red suede pumps.
@WWKD_Official suggested the Russell & Bromley 'Pinpoint' courts (£165). Overnight @RE_DailyMail received confirmation that they were indeed by the British retailer.
Kate coordinated the shoes with a matching red suede clutch bag from Miu Miu, a new brand for Kate!

Miu Miu's bow-embellished shoulder bag has been crafted in Italy from plush crimson suede. It has a gilded silver chain strap and opens to three spacious compartments.
We got a glimpse of her Cartier Ballon Bleu Watch.
Kate wore a new pair of earrings which have a diamond stud and pearl drop.
@AnnieElizabethN believes the earrings could be on loan by Her Majesty as she recalls Sophie, Countess of Wessex wearing the same style to the royal wedding. Queen Elizabeth II wore them in 1977.
Upon arrival, William and Kate were greeted by a huge crowd that had gathered at the harbour in downtown Vancouver to catch of glimpse of the royals.
After the walkabout, William & Kate paid a visit to Sheway, an outreach centre which provides health and social service support to women who are pregnant or parenting and are dealing with drug and alcohol issues.
Following this, the Duke and Duchess were joined by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie at the Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia New Welcome Centre.
The centre is the first, purpose-built facility of its kind in the world which provides settlement, education and employment services to over 25,000 immigrants and refugees each year.
Later in the day the four attended a youth reception at Telus Gardens where they met young Canadians who are helping to make a difference in their communities.
Their final stop in Vancouver was the First Responders Showcase at Kitsilano Coast Guard Station.
This enhanced station, the first of its kind in Canada, works with Indigenous groups, coastal communities and local response partners to provide improved marine safety off Canada’s west coast. At the base, William and Kate attended discussions on rescues as well as mental-health issues with representatives from multiple local programs, search and rescue teams, and first responders.
At the end of the day, the Duke and Duchess departed Vancouver on a Coast Guard hovercraft.
Tomorrow, William and Kate will visit Bella Bella, a small Heiltsuk First Nation community situated on the east coast of Campbell Island. It is the location of the Great Bear Rainforest, the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world and home of the Kermode bears – a sub-species of black bear noted for its white fur. I suspect Kate will tone down her style and opt for something more comfortable tomorrow!
