This morning members of the royal family attended the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the ceremony and watched the service from the Foreign Office balcony alongside the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex.
Kate opted to repeat the Diane von Furstenberg 'Lio' coat. Many readers will recognize the coat from previous Remembrance Sunday services. Kate debuted the piece in 2011 and wore it again in 2012.
The 'Lio' double breasted wool coat is from DVF's Fall/Winter 2008 collection.
It features storm flaps, decorative buttons and detachable soutache trim on the collar and cuffs.
Kate wore a new wide-brimmed hat today believed to be by Knightsbridge milliner, John Boyd.
The silhouette is very similar to the grey John Boyd chapeau worn for this year’s Commonwealth Day service in March.
Kate also donned a new pair of earrings. @AnnieElizabethN suggests the dazzling diamond and pearl drops are on loan from the Queen's royal collection. They are the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings each containing one large round diamond and four smaller ones, three baguette diamonds, and a Bahrain pearl dangling below.
Kate wore black gloves which are most likely her trusty Cornelia James 'Imogen' merino wool gloves.
The Duchess had her hair in a side chignon and wore a cluster of paper poppies which are offered by The Royal British Legion.
This was Kate's sixth Remembrance Sunday service. We'll conclude with a timeline graphic of her previous attendances.
