The Duchess of Cambridge marked International Women's Day by calling Jasmine Harrison to congratulate her on becoming the youngest woman to solo row the Atlantic.
Jasmine completed the record-breaking 3,000-mile row on 20th February aged 21, representing team RudderlyMad to raise money for ShelterBox and the Blue Marine Foundation. The journey took her 70 days, three hours, and 48 minutes.
On the video call the pair discussed how celebrating and elevating awareness of this achievement can work to challenge perceptions around what women are capable of, in addition to providing the motivation to pursue ambitious goals. Kate wore a feminine pussy-bow 'Dora' blouse by Boden. The azalea pink top features an all-over slash pattern. The £80 button front shirt is finished with an attached neck tie in a matching material.
Kate accessorized with her Missoma Rhodochrosite Mini Pyramid Charm Hoop earrings.
