Kate kicked off her visit in the dining hall, where she presented medals to Irish Guards members in recognition of their long service and exemplary conduct.
Next, The Princess stepped outside to carry out the longstanding tradition of presenting sprigs of shamrock to the Officers and Guardsmen.
She also continued the tradition of presenting a shamrock to the regiment’s beloved mascot, an Irish wolfhound named Turlough Mór.
The Princess then presided over the march-past and salute.
Following the parade, Kate spent time with junior cadets known as “mini-Micks,” who traveled from Northern Ireland for today’s ceremony.
Finally, The Princess attended the Sergeants’ Mess and met with members and their families.
