For their first engagement of the day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Salaam Baalak Trust, a non-governmental charity organization which provides support for street and working children in the inner city of New Delhi.
William and Kate visited the drop-in centre at Delhi railyway station, and then one of Salaam Baalak's temporary shelters for boys.
Kate wore a new full-length red patterned dress from fast-fashion British brand Glamorous (ID by Eva via @WhatKateWore).
The red navy border print maxi dress features long sleeves, lace up detail at the chest with a flared semi-sheer maxi length skirt. It retails for £50 and is also available at Amazon.
Kate complemented the peasant-style dress with her budget-friendly Filigree Bead Short Drop Earrings from Accessorize.
On her feet were a new pair of pointy-toe suede flats. What Would Kate Do was quick to identify the shoes as the Russell & Bromley XPRESSO Crossover Flat in blush suede (£175).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started Day 2 of the Royal Tour at The Social - a bar, restaurant and collaborative workspace for Mumbai's aspiring young entrepreneurs.
They helped launch the 2016-2017 GREAT Tech Rocketship Awards. which offers ten young Indian innovators a trip to the UK and access to the best of British expertise and advice, with a chance to pitch to potential investors for start-up funding.
The venue also offered an opportunity for William and Kate to meet some young entrepreneurs who demonstrated their innovations.
On day 2 of the tour, the Duchess premiered an ivory/cream midi-length dress from New Zealand-born designer, Emilia Wickstead. The neutral-hued dress, was a simpler choice from the jewel-toned Jenny Packham gown and red paisley Alexander McQueen outfits Kate kicked off the tour in.
The dress is from the designer's Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The fit-and-flare silhouette is enhanced with an exaggerated Peter Pan collar, two faux breast flap pockets and two front slit pockets. The frock was made in Italy using 100% wool-crepe. It retailed for £1,760.
Kate teamed the dress with new blush accessories. We immediately recognized the silhouette of the Mulberry 'Baywater' suede clutch because the Duchess also owns this model in black suede and cranberry suede.
On her feet were a new pair Rupert Sanderson pumps. Today she wore the 'Calice' style in Pink Lady Crack Calf Leather with a 110mm heel.
Completing the outfit were the Cassandra Goad gold 'Temple of Heaven' earrings.

Following this event, The Duke and Duchess embarked on the next leg on their tour, flying to New Delhi. The Duchess remained in the same outfit for her arrival into India's capital city.
William & Kate began their Delhi programme with a wreath-laying at India Gate. This memorial is situated in the heart of city New Delhi. The 42m high red standstone structure is the country’s main war memorial, covering the two world wars, the Third Anglo-Afghan War, and the Indo Pakistan War of 1971.
From here, The Duke and Duchess traveled to Gandhi Smriti. Literally meeting ‘Gandhi memory’, this museum is located in Old Birla House, where Mahatma Gandhi, India’s founding father, spent the last few years of his life.
William & Kate followed Gandhi's last footsteps and paid their respects at the place he was assassinated.
A tour of the museum offered the royal couple an opportunity to learn more about the legacy of India's founding father.
This evening, William and Kate will attend a Garden Party at the residence of the British High Commissioner in honour of the Queen's 90th birthday.
This evening, The Duke and Duchess were back at the Taj Palace Hotel to attend a glittering gala reception held in their honour to celebrate Mumbai’s film and creative industries. Guests included celebrities from Bollywood and some of Mumbai’s leading business leaders, politicians and charity workers.
Kate wore a stunning royal blue Jenny Packham gown. The chiffon silk bespoke dress was beaded in India along with the matching cape and clutch.
Here's another look at the dress after Kate removed the cape.
Kate styled her hair in an elegant up-do, the perfect choice to showcase her statement earrings from Indian jeweler, Amrapali. The earrings are very similar in design to the Amrapali Lapis & Diamond Double Oval Drop Earrings (US$2,900).
The consensus is that Kate wore a new pair of black suede wavy strap heels from Prada. However, the jury is out on whether she’s wearing the designer's slingback or ankle strap version.
ID UPDATE (13 Jul 2017):
We got a better look at the sandals when the Duchess stepped out in them again for avisit to the Natural History Museum. We presumed they were black but it appears that they are in fact plum.
That wraps up Day 1 of Royal Visit India! It was a long and exhausting day, so I can only imagine how the Duke and Duchess feel! We'll do it all again tomorrow, starting with their morning visit to The Social, a collaborative workspace for young entrepreneurs.
The Duke and Duchess were given a chance to freshen up following their late morning arrival at the Taj Palace Hotel. After having lunch and a brief break, the royal couple left The Taj and headed to Oval Maidan for an afternoon of sporting activities.
William and Kate then got competitive and played a game of cricket with underprivileged children from the nearby slums.
Kate also showed off her prowess with a soccer ball.
During the afternoon, the Duke & Dcuhess took an open top bus ride with children from the charity Apnalaya, another local charity that works with the children in Mumbai’s slums.
Following the physical activities at Oval Maidan, The Duke and Duchess made their way to the Banganga Water Tank. Banganga is an ancient water tank in the Malabar Hill area of Mumbai. William and Kate were given a traditional welcome and placed petals in the water as part of the ceremony.
The royal couple finished the day with a visit to the Banganga community slums.
Kate wore a breezy georgette tunic dress from Mumbai local designer Anita Dongre. Anita's designs showcase Indian aesthetics with a modern sensibility. Kate's Jaipur pattered dress is a modified piece based on a design from Dongre's Spring/Summer 2016 Love Notes collection.
The Telegraph reports that Kate's PA/stylist, Natasha Archer had altered Dongre’s catwalk design. The 'Gulrukh' dress was originally full length and included a traditional stole in matching fabric. Dongre explained the modification to The Telegraph: “Her stylist has taken the stole and converted part of that into the belt and then chopped it off so it can be worn as a dress.”
Kate teamed the dress with a new pair of taupe suede espadrilles.
I initially thought they were the Mint Velvet 'Grace' suede wedges, but the eagle-eyed @AnnieElizabethN pointed out that they have different platforms.
Following a couple false starts we finally resolved the identity of the shoes after @WWKD_Official suggested the Monsoon 'Fleur' wedges (£45.00)! This is the first time we have seen Kate wear this brand. Monsoon Accessorize is a British private limited company. It operates two international retail clothing chains – Monsoon and Accessorize.
Coincidentally, Kate also debuted earrings from Accessorize. The Bohemian style earrings will only set you back £8.00! These short-drop filigree earrings are beautifully detailed, and embellished with faceted beads and small, beaten coins. With thanks to Books, Berkins and Beauty for the ID!
Kate wore her Ray-Ban folding wayfarers sunglasses.
Stay tuned for more fashion news from this evening's Bollywood charity gala event!

Royal Tour Day 1, Mumbai: Duchess Kate kick starts tour in Alexander McQueen paisley dress10/4/2016
The Royal Tour has commenced! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Mumbai at approximately 11 am local time to embark on a week-long visit of India and Bhutan.
William and Kate's first stop on the subcontinent was the Taj Palace Hotel, where they are staying during their time in Mumbai.
The Taj was one of the scenes of the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The Duke and Duchess are following in the footsteps of other world figures, including The Prince of Wales and The US President who have both used their stays at the hotel to display solidarity with the people of Mumbai. On arrival, William and Kate paid their respects to the the victims of the terrorist attacks and laid a wreath at a memorial inside the hotel. Despite the long-haul overnight flight, the Duchess of Cambridge looked fresh in a bold Alexander McQueen paisley-print dress (ID by Call Me Kate). The design is from the upcoming pre-fall 2016 collection, and is available as a dress or separates. Kate had the top modified with longer 3/4 sleeves.
Kate accessorized with her Cassandra Goad 'Temple of Heaven' earrings.
In a addition to a new dress, Kate also debuted a set of neutral accessories. She carried the Russell & Bromley 'Curvy' clutch bag, crafted in luxurious taupe suede with a gunmetal frame and clasp closure. It retails for £165.
On her feet were a pair of LK Bennett pumps. The British brand confirmed via Instagram that Kate wore their 'Fern' court shoes in trench leather.
Following lunch at the hotel, William and Kate will head to Oval Maidan, a recreation ground in the south of the city for a game of cricket with some of the city’s poorest children.
This evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a pre-tour reception held at Kensington Palace, ahead of their forthcoming visit to India and Bhutan.
The purpose of the reception was to give William and Kate the chance to meet young people from India and Bhutan who are currently studying or working in the UK. The event was an opportunity for the royal couple to learn more about India and Bhutan's people, history, current affairs and culture.
For the occasion, Kate premiered a new gown from London-based, Indian-born designer, Saloni. You may recall that Kate first wore the label in November 2015, following the announcement of the royal tour to the subcontinent.
Tonight, she wore the designer's Blue Mary Illusion Dot Dress (£498). It is from the Pre-Fall 2016 collection and was available for pre-purchase at Moda Operandi. It will soon be available to pre-order from the Saloni website.
The maxi-length dress features an Edwardian-style silhouette with an illusion plunging neckline. The dress has a navy devoré dotted sheer overlay and inset belted waist. It is made in the United Kingdom from a blended fabric of 80% rayon and 20% silk.
Some of you have asked how Kate managed to pull off such a daring sheer neckline, yet look modest? In the photo below, I can see the outline of skin-toned lining (located between the 8th and 9th row of dots from the top). Click on the image to expand the size, and you will get a better glimpse of the chest lining.
Tonight, Kate accessorized with her Cassandra Goad gold 'Temple of Heaven' girandole pendant earrings - perhaps a sartorial nod to the iconic Buddhist temples in Bhutan.
On her feet were the Rupert Sanderson 'Malory' Navy Suede Pumps.
The India/Bhutan tour kicks off on the 10th of April. It will be the first time that the royal couple has visited either country. I'm really looking forward to covering this tour! It will mean very little sleep for me over the course of the 6 days, but I know it will be worth it!
