On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales attended the presentation of the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at 180 Studios in London. Hosted by the British Fashion Council (BFC), the annual event celebrates the creativity and innovation of emerging British designers.
The Princess presented this year's award to London-based fashion designer, Patrick McDowell.
During the event, Catherine also toured the pop-up studio of the winning designer, exploring their eco-conscious design process firsthand.
She also met with recipients and shortlisted designers from the BFC Foundation’s initiatives, including BFC NEWGEN, BFC Fashion Trust, BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, and BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund, viewing their inspiring collections.
For the occasion, Kate chose a sophisticated olive-green trouser suit from Victoria Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, exuding modern elegance and championing British design.
The tailored wool-blend ensemble featured a patch-pocket blazer (US$1,250) and coordinating flared 'Alina' trousers (US$750).
Kate paired the suit with an ivory silk ruffle-front blouse by Knatchbull - Savile Row's first and only shopfront for women. Retailing for about £565, the blouse adds a soft, feminine touch to the structured look.
The Princess accessorized with Queen Elizabeth II’s Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings, a sentimental nod to the late monarch for whom the award is named.

Princess Kate’s Timeless Elegance in Repeats and Vintage at VE Day 80th Anniversary Concert8/5/2025
On Thursday evening, the Prince and Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance at the "VE Day 80: A Celebration to Remember" concert marking the culmination of the United Kingdom’s four-day commemorations for the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
The couple joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh in the Royal Box at Horse Guards Parade to honor the end of World War II in Europe with a vibrant tribute featuring performances for veterans and the nation’s enduring spirit.
For the celebratory concert, the Princess rewore her elegant cream Self-Portrait Tailored Bouclé and Chiffon Midi Dress, first debuted at a Hold Still reception in 2021 and later worn at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 'Party at the Palace' concert in 2022.
She accessorized her ensemble with jewelry from Susan Caplan, reintroducing the 1980s Vintage 5-Strand Faux Pearl Necklace, previously worn earlier this year, and pairing it with a striking new pair of Vintage Renaissance Revival Pearl Earrings (£75).
She was seen carrying her black Chanel Mini Flap Bag, and on her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 105 Pumps in Bisque Suede.
Completing her ensemble was a statement bow, with her hair elegantly styled in a half-up look.
On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) at Westminster Abbey in London.
Also in attendance were King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.
The service honoured and paid tribute to the Second World War generation.
Following the service, members of the Royal Family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, laid flowers at the Innocent Victims' Memorial.
For the Service of Thanksgiving, Catherine chose a white long-sleeved midi dress with black polka dots by Alessandra Rich, a custom piece she previously wore for the Order of the Garter Service in June 2023. The dress, with its timeless 1940s-inspired silhouette, was a fitting nod to the historical significance of the occasion.
She accessorized with a black floral fascinator by Juliette Botterill, adding a touch of sophistication.

On Monday, Catherine, Princess of Wales, joined her family to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, a poignant milestone marking the end of World War II in Europe.
Accompanied by Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Catherine participated in a series of events in London that underscored the royal family’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of past generations.
The day began with the Wales family observing a military procession of 1,300 personnel, including NATO allies, from a raised platform outside Buckingham Palace.
The family later appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals, to watch a flypast featuring historic and modern aircraft, including the Red Arrows.
Following the flypast, Catherine, Prince William, and Prince George attended a tea party at Buckingham Palace, where they warmly interacted with veterans and their families. This occasion represented a pivotal moment in Prince George’s journey as the future heir to the throne, deepening his understanding of his royal responsibilities.
For the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations, the Princess of Wales exuded elegance in a berry-toned Emilia Wickstead coatdress, previously worn in 2022 during the South African State Visit welcome ceremony.
Kate complemented her ensemble with a sophisticated Sean Barrett velvet pillbox hat and a new pair of diamond and ruby earrings. She also wore a matching ruby and diamond pendant necklace, which some believe is not the same one she debuted during the July 2017 Poland visit. Pinned to her lapel was a Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm brooch.
The triple-strand pearl bracelet, once belonging to Princess Diana, added a sentimental touch.
On Kate's feet were the Ralph Lauren 'Celia' Calfskin Pump in RL Gold.
