The Duchess of Cambridge made a series of private engagements on Friday. She visited Eastwood Park Prison in Gloucester to learn what support is available to women prisoners and their families with complex needs.
Kate's next appointment was with the Nelson's Trust Women's Centre as part of her ongoing work on addiction and mental health.
The organisation provides support to vulnerable women and works closely with Eastwood Park to provide ongoing support to women and their families, on departure from prison.
Yesterday's engagements follow a visit to HMP Send women's prison last September. These engagements reflect Kate's continued interest in social problems such as substance abuse, mental health, and family breakdown and what support can be offered to vulnerable families to help break the cycles at the heart of these issues.
Following a series of new outfits, Kate opted to repeat an ensemble for these private visits. She arrived wearing her sky blue Mulberry 'Paddington' wool-blend coat. You may recall we first got a glimpse of the coat when the Duchess was snapped boarding a helicopter on the grounds of Kensington Palace in February.
Underneath the coat, Kate wore an unidentified black turtleneck knit top we’ve seen on a few occasions, and her Dolce & Gabbana boucle wool blend skirt which debuted during her gig as guest editor of the Huffington Post UK earlier this year.
Kate accessorized the outfit with her favorite black suede combination of the Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch and Stuart Weitzman 'Power' Pumps.
She finished the look with with her Annoushka pearl/Kiki hoop earrings and a Royal British Legion traditional paper poppy.
I encourage you to visit the Royal British Legion Poppy Shop and buy a pin ahead of Remembrance Day!
UPDATE - 16th Jan 2017
New photos have emerged of the Duchess disembarking from a helicopter on her way to the engagements on 5th Nov 2016 (photo and ID via @theroyalsandi and @wwkd_official).
The large black tote is rendered in cross-grain calf leather and features a smooth external pocket. It has a contrasting navy suede lining, zip top closure, gold hardware, and removable internal pocket with zip top closure.

The Duchess of Cambridge hit the red carpet in London this evening for the World premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob. The movie tells the real-life story of a homeless busker James Bowen whose life was turned around by a stray ginger cat.
Before the premiere, the Duchess made a visit to the Working Title Films production company for a special screening of The Recovery Street Film Festival which features films made by former addicts and their loved ones about life in recovery from addiction.
Kate attended both events in her capacity as patron of Action On Addiction, a charity that helps those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse as well as their family and friends.
On the red carpet at the Curzon Mayfair theatre, the Duchess met the film's cast and crew including the feline star of the show, Bob.
Tonight, Kate continued her run of experimenting with new labels. She debuted an off-white maxi dress by Self-Portrait, a London-based brand loved by American celebrities including Beyonce, Olivia Palermo and Paris Hilton.
The US$640 gown from the label's Resort 2016 collection features a sheer crotchet bodice with a high neckline and modesty panel. A grosgrain band accents the waist and the pleated crepe skirt is finished with a sexy high side slit.
Unfortunately the maxi dress has sold out but is available to rent from Australian retailer Glam Corner. Furthermore, the design is available in black at Lane Crawford.
There is also a similar but more formal design in the current collection.
The popular label was founded by Han Chong, a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins fashion school. The school's alumni boasts some of Kate's favorite designers including Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane. Chong logged a good decade working at other fashion labels before launching Self-Portrait in 2013. Lace is a signature element of his designs and contemporary femininity runs through his collections. You can find the brand at UK's leading retailers including ASOS, Shopbop, MatchesFashion, MyTheresa, and Selfridges.
Kate pinned a red poppy brooch to her to chest in honour of Remembrance Day. She donned the Poppy® Collection Sparkle Brooch designed by Buckley London, a piece she first wore for the Remembrance Sunday service in 2013. You can buy genuine poppy brooches supporting the Royal British Legion from The Poppy Shop, Buckley London, and Marks & Spencer.
The tie in the colour of the brooch, the Duchess accessorized with her cranberry suede Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch bag and Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Royale Burgundy Suede Pumps.
She finished the look with her Oscar de la Renta hammered gold-plated faux pearl earrings.
The Duchess of Cambridge is scheduled to attend another red carpet event next week. She will join the Queen & members of the royal family for the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on 12th November.
