On Saturday evening, the Princess of Wales attended the Festival of Remembrance, joined for the first time by her eldest son, Prince George, who stood in for his father as Prince William traveled back from the COP30 UN Climate Change Summit in Belém, Brazil.
Held at London's Royal Albert Hall, the Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflict. Organized by the Royal British Legion, the televised event takes place annually on the eve of Remembrance Sunday.
Catherine and George sat alongside King Charles and other senior members of the Royal Family in the Royal Box.
For the solemn occasion, Kate debuted the black Alessandra Rich ‘Envers’ Dress. Priced at $2,470 and part of the designer’s Spring ’25 collection, the dress evokes vintage elegance with its crepe de chine construction and lace-trimmed mikado collar. A bow detail and peplum ruffles add a touch of sweetness, while the double-breasted buttons lend a tailored, polished finish.
She accessorized with her Mulberry ‘Bayswater’ clutch. Her shoes may have been the Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in black suede, though available photos aren’t clear enough to confirm this with certainty.
The Princess also wore the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings and her unidentified diamond pendant cross necklace.
Kate completed the look with her HMS Glasgow Brooch and a new poppy created by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co. Hatters. Ms Ager, a hand-embroidery artist, crafted the poppy by hand using silk and glass beads.

I just didn't like this look at all, her new stylist is just not up to the mark. Not that natasha was good in her later part of the work but the new one is putting her in weird frumpy clothes. She is a princess, she should be styled well especially for such public events.

I was hoping Kate had moved past her Alessandra Rich phase, but alas, she’s chosen one of the dowdiest designs yet. Fashion aside, it was lovely to see young Prince George join his mum for such a poignant occasion. The Prince and Princess of Wales are doing a stellar job of gently introducing their children to their future royal roles.

Alessandra Rich clothes are an abomination. Her clothes give 80s and not in a good way. Don't know why kate loves this brand so much.

This is not an outfit I like. I don't find this brand appealing, though I realize the Princess does. The earrings are beautiful.
