Ahead of her 44th birthday tomorrow, the Princess of Wales, accompanied by Prince William, visited Charing Cross Hospital in London in their role as Patrons of NHS Charities Together.
The royal couple surprised healthcare staff during their tea break and spent time speaking with them about the challenges they face during the winter season.
They also met volunteers supported by the charity, who play a vital role in enhancing patient care and easing the pressure on the wider workforce.
The Prince and Princess later took part in a roundtable with NHS charity CEOs, trustees, policymakers, and philanthropists to explore the crucial role of philanthropy in supporting the NHS.
For her first engagement of 2026, Kate wore her maroon Roland Mouret stretch cady pantsuit.
Today, she styled it with a new ruby-red ME+EM silk sleeveless blouse, complete with a removable matching scarf. Thanks to Middleton Maven for the ID.
Kate complemented the rich, deep red tones with brown suede accessories, including her DeMellier ‘The Small Hudson’ bag and Gianvito Rossi ‘Gianvito’ 105 pumps.

I love this outfit. When I was a working woman, I always thought "Would Kate wear this" before I put it on. Im retired now, but I still look to her more informal outfits for inspiration. And while this is quite business like, the concept, of the colors etc can easily be translated into casual wear for the older woman. Im not a athleasure wear kinda gal - never was and never will be.

Catherine loves these cartier earrings, she's been wearing it often. She also loves this suit, it does suit her very much. This is the best it has been styled till now.
