On Tuesday morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, at RAF Northolt on behalf of His Majesty The King.

The French Presidential couple are on a three-day state visit to the United Kingdom.

The Macrons and the Prince and Princess of Wales then went to Windsor Castle where they joined the King and Queen for the official welcome ceremony.

Afterward, a private lunch was hosted at Windsor Castle, followed by the Royal Family welcoming the Presidential Couple to the Green Drawing Room to view an exhibition of items related to France.

The Princess of Wales showcased sartorial diplomacy at its finest by debuting a blush-pink Christian Dior ensemble.
The outfit, featuring the iconic 30 Montaigne Bar Jacket (US$5,000) and a tulle pleated midi skirt (US$3,300), paid homage to French fashion heritage.
The look echoed Dior’s revolutionary 1947 "New Look", blending elegance with cultural symbolism. During the era, the collection represented a return to a decorative femininity following the austerity of the war years.

Kate complemented the Dior separates with a new colour-coordinating hat by British milliner Jess Collett. The headpiece was a custom design based on the 'Rita' boater (£829).
She was seen carrying her Mulberry 'Bayswater' Wallet Clutch in Natural suede.
On her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 85 Pumps in Praline Suede.
Kate completed the look with Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings, and a three-strand pearl necklace from Queen Elizabeth II's collection.

Kate looked amazing, so glad she is finally branching out to more designers. This dior look is fab on her, the jewellery complimented the look very well.

I love this outfit on her. The color suits her so beautifully! I have some pearls that my father brought back to my grandmother when he was fighting in the Korean War that look just like those that Kate is wearing. I’m going to start wearing them more often! Thank you for this post and the joy that it (and all of your posts) brings to us!

This is a beautiful Dior outfit. The jacket is stunning, perfect fit, I love the length. The skirt is gorgeous, sits and flowed well as she walked. Her hat looks great, love the color of her accessories. The pearl necklace looks just beautiful, elegant touch. Her pearl earrings were the perfect choice. Beautiful presentation by the Princess.
