Princess Kate Exudes Casual Chic in 43rd Birthday Portrait

Prince William shared a heartfelt message along with a newly released photo of the Princess of Wales, unveiled by Kensington Palace today to celebrate Catherine's 43rd birthday.

In the social media posts, the Prince wrote:

To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W

​The black-and-white photo, captured by the Wales family's trusted photographer, Matt Porteous, last summer in Windsor, shows Kate looking relaxed and casual in a pair of dark-wash jeans and black jacket. Both pieces are yet to be identified.

According to Middleton Maven, the scarf she is wearing might be the Gingham Check Stole in Daffodil ($315) from Scottish retailer Brora, a brand frequently worn by Kate. 

The shirt appears to be her Frame 'The Standard' Tuxedo Shirt, first worn in 2023 during a visit to the Vsi Razom Community Hub.​
