The Princess of Wales made a heartwarming and insightful trip to South Wales today, demonstrating her commitment to both supporting vulnerable families and celebrating Welsh industry.
Her day began at Tŷ Hafan, a children's hospice in Sully, where she was warmly welcomed and announced as the organization's new patron. She spent time with children with life-shortening conditions and their families, as well as staff and volunteers.
The Pricness then joined a ‘stay and play’ session were the children enjoy meaningful play and activities alongside their care.
The Princess also spent time with families who have received support from Tŷ Hafan at every stage, from their children's lives to their passing and bereavement.
Later in the day, Kate's focus shifted to the rich heritage of Welsh manufacturing with a visit to Corgi Socks, a family-run textiles manufacturer in Ammanford, Wales.
The company is renowned for its high-quality socks and knitwear. During her visit, the Princess met with the skilled design and production teams, learning about their creative process, the technical expertise involved in crafting their products, and the
company's rich history.
The visit highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses and preserving traditional crafts within the UK.

I adore Kate and her usual sartorial fashion choices but this is a miss for me. The cream coat doesn’t work with the plaid dress. A black coat would have worked better in my humble opinion…but who am I to question the fashion choices of the future “Queen of England”?❤️🇬🇧🥰😉

I respectfully disagree. A black coat would have made the outfit appear more heavy and somber, and given that she was visiting a children's hospice, I believe she struck the right balance.

I absolutely agree with Milly, the coat was perfect. A black coat would have been much too sombre. Wearing black is sometimes what we all resort to when we can't think of anything else.

With all the respect for Page Edenfield’s opinion, I agree with Milly. A black coat would be too “heavy”.

Utterly boring outfit, the dress is dull, doesn't suit the POW in terms of colour. The coat makes the look even duller. She should have worn a totally different outfit, more colourful.
