On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales attended the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, marking her continued commitment as Colonel of the Irish Guards.
The visit featured traditional military ceremonies and personal interactions with the regimental family.

A highlight of the day was the long-standing tradition of presenting sprigs of shamrock to the officers and guardsmen, including the regiment’s beloved mascot, an Irish Wolfhound named Turlough Mór.
Post-parade, the Princess awarded service medals before meeting with Association members and the ‘Mini Micks’ cadets. She concluded her visit at the Sergeants’ Mess, thanking regimental families for their vital support of the Armed Forces.
The Princess looked elegant in a military-inspired outfit that perfectly balanced tradition with a modern fit. She chose her green Alexander McQueen double-breasted coat, which she first wore in January 2023 and most recently on Christmas Day 2024.
Cinching the waist was a new black leather belt, featuring a double-prong fastening and a covered square buckle; the piece remains unidentified.

Peeking from beneath the coat was her black Alexander McQueen Long Pleated Skirt Dress.
She also repeated her black suede Ralph Lauren High-Heel Boots.
Kate's hair was styled in an elegant chignon and topped with her green Gina Foster ‘Meribel’ hat, a favourite in her collection since 2013.
We saw the return of the Asprey London Emerald and Diamond Halo Earrings and the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch.
Th finishing touches included a black scarf and her Cornelia James 'Imogen' Merino Wool Gloves in Black.

A stunning ensemble, save for the belt. The coat’s expertly tailored waist and defined seaming render the addition unnecessary, giving the overall look a slightly clunky finish.

The deep green double breasted coat looks beautiful. She has the height to wear this so well. I love the addition of the black belt in this instance, the black scarf adding warmth, boots and gloves, lovely accessories. The hat looks exceptionally good. Love the gorgeous emerald and diamond earrings. They are of substance but perfect for day wear, up close they are quite dainty. I would so love them in my jewel box !!!

I did come across that in my ID search but it appears a lot wider than Kate's belt when you compare it on the the model. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
