On Thursday, the Princess of Wales, Patron of the Rugby Football Union, hosted a reception at Windsor Castle for the England Women’s Rugby team, following their World Cup win in September 2025.
The players and team staff were given a tour of the Castle, before joining the Princess to celebrate their achievement.
The team then posed for a formal group photo with the Princess.
Kate made a striking appearance at the reception in her red Alexander McQueen separates, first worn in January 2023 for the Shaping Us launch and later re-worn that year for the Coronation Concert.
It is difficult to say with certainty, but the blouse may be her Holland Cooper shirt bodysuit, which she has worn on several occasions with the lapels tucked neatly behind her blazer.
On her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Suede Pumps in Granta Red.
The Princess finished the look with her Katherine James Vintage Pearl Earrings and Auree 'Bali' January Garnet Birthstone Necklace.

Its lovely to see a re wear of this beautiful red pantsuit. I love the hemline of the jacket, in this instance it works beautifully. The red color is gorgeous and suits the Princess well. Up close the earrings are quite beautiful. Love the red shoes. Beautiful presentation by the Princess.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but I noticed that you haven't cataloged Princess Diana's horseshoe diamond and pearl drop earrings. Could you add them to the jewelry page? It's an earring that Princess Of Wales is often seen wearing.

My aim is to eventually add all the earrings, but I’m very time-poor at the moment. Juggling posts across all my blogs makes it challenging to find the time to update the catalogue, let alone stay on top of regular posting. Thank you for the suggestion though. Rest assured, it's on the list!

If it's not too much work could you also put all royal jewelries in one tab, a lot of earrings and necklaces get lost amongst her normal ones.

I've actually been thinking to create separate headers for Princess Diana's jewellery and the royal jewels within the jewellery tab but wasn't sure if people preferred me to group them by type i.e. necklaces, earrings etc (like I currently do) or by provenance.

I think it would be good as different groups for Diana's jewels and royal jewels.

Hi Elizabeth, the idea of separate headings for Princess Diana's jewellery. I feel would be a great idea, the different headers/groups of personal jewels and royal jewels.

Thank you for your reply. I agree with Sarah, it would be good to have a separate tab for royal jewels, but another one for those inherited from Princess Diana would also be very good, since some people (myself included) get confused about the provenance of the jewels.
