On Wednesday evening, the Prince and Princess of Wales stepped out for the Royal Variety Performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

This marks the sixth time William and Catherine have attended the star-studded show in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, of which the King is Patron.
The Royal Variety Performance is an annual event held in support of the Royal Variety Charity, which provides assistance to those who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry. Through a nationwide grants scheme, the charity offers vital support to performers and industry professionals in need.
The royal couple met a number of performers and representatives from the Royal Variety Charity.

For the dazzling event, the Princess stepped onto the red carpet in an emerald-green stretch velvet gown by the German fashion brand Talbot Runhof.

The style appears to date back several years and was released as the 'Bobonne' Off-the-Shoulder Gown. It features a sleek, figure-hugging silhouette with ruched detailing that accentuates the body. The mermaid design gently flares from the knee into a short, graceful train.
On her feet were the Manolo Blahnik 'BB' Pumps in Dark Green Velvet.
The Princess brought out some serious sparkle this evening, wearing the Greville Chandelier Diamond Earrings, paired with Queen Mary’s Diamond Choker Bracelet.

After we all had a little whinge yesterday about Kate’s dull suits, today felt like a feast for the eyes. The Princess looked absolutely radiant in this velvety gown—more than making up for all those uninspiring suits. The cut is wonderfully feminine, she accessorized it perfectly, and it’s delightful to see her bring out some royal jewellery too!

She heard our prayers and served so hard, this is her best look this year. Love the velvet gown and her hair is perfection, and her confidence took this look to another level.

Finally!! Absolutely love this look, Kate looks amazing. The velvet is fab on her. This look reminds me of her black velvet gown that she wore to an awards night the yearr she got married.

Spectacular! She looks ravishing, this along with her US state dinner looks are my favorite looks of her this year. The makeup and hair is amazing, she's glowing.

I have really missed seeing all the lovely dresses Kate wore in the past. Really beautiful looking velvet dress. Green is Princess Kates color along with the elegant jewlery, shoes and clutch.

This is the Princess Kate we all want to see! A perfect ensemble, and she has a beautiful twinkle in her eyes — the best accessory of all. While I understand the need for pantsuits, she has been overdoing it lately and so I hope she hears our prayers for more dresses!
