On Monday, The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual Commonwealth Day Service of Celebration at Westminster Abbey.

They joined King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals to celebrate the Commonwealth’s theme 'Unlocking opportunities together for a prosperous Commonwealth'.
The Princess stepped out in a bespoke navy blue Catherine Walker coatdress, a masterclass in tailoring featuring a double-breasted silhouette, peaked shoulders, and sharp notch lapels.
The garment is defined by a pleated skirt and a clever waist-level hem that, when viewed from the rear, creates the elegant illusion of separates.
Evoking the silhouettes of the 'Amarante' and 'Bellflower' models, this custom creation also incorporates a collar seemingly adapted from the 'Courchevel' coatdress.
Kate revisited her bespoke Sean Barrett felt saucer hat, an elegant piece first seen at the 2023 Commonwealth Day service.
For this appearance, the millinery was refreshed with the addition of delicate tonal netting.
Coordinating in deep navy, she paired her Strathberry Multrees Chain Wallet with her signature Gianvito Rossi '105' suede pumps.
Completing the ensemble with a blend of royal legacy and vintage flair, she chose the Queen Elizabeth II's Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings and a striking 1980s Susan Caplan five-strand pearl necklace.

She looked perfect, the coat is definitely my second favorite. It's only surpassed by the Erdem outfit she wore during the 2023 service season, that one is truly iconic, I hope she wears it again in the future.

This is a beautiful coatdress. I love the side pleating, adding interest. The Princess has the height to wear this so successfully. The color is sublime. I love the color of her accessories. The pearl necklace looks good, the pearl drop earrings are stunning, close up how breathtaking. The rewear of her blue hat works in well, the fine netting changes the look up a bit, clever addition.
