On Thursday, the Princess of Wales visited the children’s mental health charity Anna Freud, of which she is Patron.
The visit to the centre coincided with the launch of a new initiative between Anna Freud and The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, aimed at strengthening the skills of health visitors in supporting early social and emotional development.
Catherine also spoke with parents and carers who are helping to shape the new project.
The visit concluded with the Princess taking part in roundtable discussions with experts from the Anna Freud Centre, as well as young people, educators, and other guests, focusing on how to build communities where strong relationships can flourish, wellbeing is supported, and mental ill health can be prevented.
For today’s engagement, the Princess of Wales stepped out in her custom Emilia Wickstead ‘Miles’ houndstooth dress.
She first wore the dress in 2022 during a visit to Harvard University in Boston (shown below). The only change this time was her choice of belt—Kate swapped the original thin, matching style for a slightly wider version in the same fabric.
The Princess arrived carrying a new bag from DeMellier London—the Small Hudson in mocha suede.
On her feet were the grey Hugo Boss 'Staple P90-L' Embossed Leather Pumps.
She finished the look with her sapphire and diamond oval drop earrings.

Seeing the fitting of the dress can understand why she has been wearing pantsuits, she has lost a lot of weight due to the surgery and cancer treatment.

Its splendid to see a rewear of this lovely dress. I do prefer it with the sleeves. I do prefer the blue bag as opposed to this brown suede, though it is lovely. Love the color of her shoes. The diamond and sapphire earrings are gorgeous.

Now this is how you strike the perfect balance between power dressing and femininity. The dress is timeless and endlessly versatile when it comes to accessorising. I personally preferred it with the blue handbag, though the brown suede bag may have worked beautifully had she also chosen matching suede pumps. Overall, a stunning look from head to toe.
