Princess Kate Steps Out in a Sleek Roland Mouret Pantsuit for the Future Workforce Summit18/11/2025
On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales attended the Future Workforce Summit, hosted by The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood at Salesforce Tower in London.
The summit brought together business leaders to think seriously about how early childhood underpins not only individual well-being, but also the future workforce. In her remarks, the Princess emphasized that early nurturing, “time, attention and tenderness,” and loving relationships are foundational for building resilient, capable people — and that business has a role to play in cultivating that.
The Princess channelled executive chic with a brand-new pale grey suit from Roland Mouret.
The ensemble features a single-breasted blazer and coordinating wide-leg trousers in a grey sharkskin fabric that may have been a custom commission. The style remains in the designer’s collection, though currently offered only in black stretch cady.
Beneath the sharp tailoring, the Princess layered her ivory Knatchbull Cascade Ruffle Silk Blouse, its soft cascades adding a romantic counterpoint to the structured suit.
She was spotted arriving with her black Smythson Panama East West Zip Tote in hand, the structured silhouette complementing her tailored suit.
On her feet, we saw the return of the Russell & Bromley ‘100Point’ Blade Heel Pumps.
For a touch of timeless sparkle, she turned to her Mappin & Webb ‘Empress’ Diamond Carriage Earrings — a beloved pair she has worn regularly since 2015.

A suit again, it's so predictable and boring now.

In this instance, a suit felt like an apt choice—after all, she was meeting with CEOs from some of Britain’s biggest companies. But like you, I’m really hoping to see her return to more dresses. The steady rotation of suits is starting to feel a bit monotonous, and I miss the fashion inspiration her more varied looks used to offer.

Yes, I get it for this ocassion but she is wearing the same thing while meeting other royals and dignitaries at palace and all such events. And the suits are also so similar, she buys the same thing in multiple colours so it has become monotonous.

Pale grey as well as pale beige definitely does not suit her complexion, she looks terribly dull.

I don't really mind her wearing suits frequently if that's what she is comfortable in but I agree with Jules and Philly regarding monotony. And her buying same clothes in multiple colours also don't go well with William's earthshot activism. This makes it feel like rules for you not me.

Anyone else think this looks ill-fitting?

Her personal style was very good before marriage, that's when I liked her style. I get that after marrying into the royal family there are certain restrictions but it shouldn't be so boring. Infact until 2022 she was wearing all cool clothes, Idk why after turning 40 she made that big of a change to her style, 40 is still quite young.

I feel this pantsuit was the perfect choice for this visit with the CEO's. The blouse is pretty, love her bag. I too miss the dresses and skirts. But the Princess looks healthy and engaging, well done to her, the speech was brilliant.
