Tonight, the British Royal Family hosted an opulent State Banquet at Windsor Castle in honour of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu during their State Visit to the United Kingdom.
A photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales entering St. George’s Hall for the white-tie banquet.
During the dinner, Princess Catherine was seated beside President Tinubu.
Honouring the guest nation, the Princess of Wales wore an emerald green gown for this evening's state occasion, a sartorial nod to the Nigerian flag.
Her dress is a bespoke iteration of Andrew Gn’s Chiffon Pleated Gown from the Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Crafted from 100% silk, the design features a sophisticated high neck and voluminous blouson sleeves, accented by intricate pleating at the neckline and waist. Kate omitted the pearl-buckled belt seen on the original runway look. With thanks to Laura (@Japanese_Ginger) and UFO No More for the ID.
The Princess carried her Jenny Packham ‘Casa’ metal-frame clutch, crafted in glistening platinum lamé and adorned with a crystal-encrusted clasp.
Peeking out from beneath the full-length gown were the emerald green Manolo Blahnik ‘Hangisi’ satin pumps, a style previously seen on Kate only in the portrait of the Duchess unveiled in June 2022.
Her royal jewellery featured Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara and the Queen Mother’s Sapphire & Diamond Fringe Earrings.
The Princess also wore the sash and badge of the Royal Victorian Order, accompanied by the Maltese Cross, and the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.

I understand the coverage of the gown on Catherine, protocol, the guests. The color is sublime, beautiful shade of green. I love the features of this gown, but I prefer it as shown with a belt, adding definition. The skirt of the gown looked wonderful as she moved it just glided. The satin pump shoes are simply beautiful, love the color and the buckle, gorgeous shoes. Perfect choice.
