Princess Kate Wears Lavender Emilia Wickstead to Mark Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th Birthday

The Prince and Princess of Wales joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside senior members of the Royal Family, to host a reception at Buckingham Palace marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II.​

Among the guests were representatives of the late Queen’s former charities and patronages, as well as a group of special centenarians celebrating their 100th birthdays today.

For the celebratory occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a bespoke Emilia Wickstead midi dress in a soft lavender hue.

She also owns another design, aptly named the ‘Kate,’ by the label in a similar colourway.​

The closest match in Emiila Wickstead's current collection is the 'Collision' dress.

There are, however, several notable differences: Kate’s dress features structured shoulder pads, a lightly gathered bodice with an empire waist seam, bracelet-length sleeves, and vertical seams running the length of the A-line skirt.

On her feet were the ​Ralph Lauren 'Celia' Calfskin Pumps.

The Princess paid tribute to the late Queen through her jewellery choices, wearing the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings and a three-strand pearl necklace, both from the late Queen’s personal collection.
