The Prince and Princess of Wales joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside senior members of the Royal Family, to host a reception at Buckingham Palace marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II.
Among the guests were representatives of the late Queen’s former charities and patronages, as well as a group of special centenarians celebrating their 100th birthdays today.
For the celebratory occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a bespoke Emilia Wickstead midi dress in a soft lavender hue.
She also owns another design, aptly named the ‘Kate,’ by the label in a similar colourway.
The closest match in Emiila Wickstead's current collection is the 'Collision' dress.
There are, however, several notable differences: Kate’s dress features structured shoulder pads, a lightly gathered bodice with an empire waist seam, bracelet-length sleeves, and vertical seams running the length of the A-line skirt.
On her feet were the Ralph Lauren 'Celia' Calfskin Pumps.
The Princess paid tribute to the late Queen through her jewellery choices, wearing the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings and a three-strand pearl necklace, both from the late Queen’s personal collection.

The Lavender color is sublime, very pretty shade. The dress looks elegant, the fit and length are perfect for the Princess. The bodice is interesting and different. How marvelous to see the 3 strand pearl necklace, this looks splendid, perfect with this dress. As usual the Bahrain earrings are a lovely addition, beautiful earrings. Princess Diana's pearl bracelet would have been a great addition. The bracelet length sleeves, I love! Her shoe color was a nice choice, lovely presentation.
