On Saturday evening, The Princess of Wales visited the Ever After Garden at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
The Ever After Garden first opened in 2019 and features 30,000 illuminated roses, each dedicated by members of the public in honour of loved ones. To date, the installation has raised more than £1.2 million for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which exists solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.
The Princess of Wales spent time speaking with volunteers during her tour of the garden and said: “Thank you to all those who have contributed to the Ever After Garden, which raises vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Every flower, every light, is a memory held together, an illumination of shared love, remembrance, and hope.”
The Princess of Wales also dedicated her own rose, accompanied by a heartfelt message that read: “In loving memory of all those who have lost their lives to cancer.”
For this moving tribute, the Princess wore her Blackwatch tartan Holland Cooper double-breasted coat.
Her boots appear to be the Gianvito Rossi Block Heel Boots in Black Suede.
Kate debuted a new pair of Butler & Wilson double daisy drop earrings in silver, their floral motif subtly echoing the glowing roses that filled the garden.

This was a very moving event and the tartan coat was the perfect choice, it looks so warm and snug. The black boots, blended well with the tartan color of the coat. Her daisy drop earrings were a clever choice, considering the setting, love them.
