On Monday, The Prince and Princess of Wales commemorated the third anniversary of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s passing with a visit to the National Federation of Women’s Institute (WI) in Sunningdale, England.
The WI is the largest women’s organisation in the UK and was long supported by Queen Elizabeth II, who became a member in 1943 and served as President of the Sandringham branch from 2003 until her passing in 2022.
During their visit, William and Catherine learned about the work of the WI and how it provides women with opportunities to socialise, develop new skills, and take part in community projects.
The royal couple also spoke with members about the significance of the late Queen’s involvement in the organisation and met those who had the privilege of interacting with Her Majesty during her reign.
For this outing, Kate debuted a plaid printed midi dress by Alessandra Rich from the Pre-Fall 2021 Daisy Desire collection, featuring an oversized flat collar, short puff sleeves, and decorative buttons.
Below is a closer look at the black, white and pink plaid printed crepe de chine fabric, along with the pearl-and-diamanté buttons.
The dress was paired with her grey pointed-toe pumps by Hugo Boss.
Kate’s Kiki ‘Grace’ earrings provided the perfect finishing touch, their delicate design subtly echoing the pearl-and-diamanté buttons on her dress.
