On Wednesday, The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Pontypridd in South Wales ahead of St. David’s Day on March 1.
Their visit focused on connecting with the local community, particularly in the wake of severe flooding caused by Storms Bert and Darragh in November and December 2024, which significantly impacted the area.
The royal couple began their day at Pontypridd Market, a historic hub since 1805. There, they met local business owners and even tried their hand at making traditional Welsh cakes at The Welsh Cake Shop.

They did a walkabout to greet the locals who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their prince and princess.

Next, they visited the Meadow Street Community Garden and Woodland, a space transformed in 2021 from a flood-damaged area into a vibrant community asset.

They learned how volunteers restored it after the recent storms and explored its importance as a place for residents to connect with nature and each other—something especially meaningful to the Princess, who has spoken about nature’s role in well-being, particularly after her cancer treatment.

I love the red coat and admire that Kate is rewearing a piece from 2007—it’s always great to see sustainable fashion choices. That said, this outfit feels a bit dated to me, and I do wish we’d see a break from all the brown tones she’s been favoring lately. Hopefully, with spring around the corner, we’ll see a refreshing pop of color in her wardrobe!

Kate looks stunning as usual! I sent replikates for some of her other jewelry pieces like her Accessorize Eclectic Gem earrings and her sapphire and diamond necklace, would love to see them added

I agree with Milly and Kat—the brown is starting to feel overdone, and I’d love to see a more elevated style. The Princess of Wales has an incredible influence on British fashion, and while her role isn’t about clothes, her choices can significantly boost British brands. That’s certainly worth something!

The red coat is stunning. I love the rewear of this 2007 jacket, combined with the gorgeous skirt, the overall look is fabulous. I don't have a problem with her wearing brown's Love her boots. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
