On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) at Westminster Abbey in London.
Also in attendance were King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.
The service honoured and paid tribute to the Second World War generation.
Following the service, members of the Royal Family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, laid flowers at the Innocent Victims' Memorial.
For the Service of Thanksgiving, Catherine chose a white long-sleeved midi dress with black polka dots by Alessandra Rich, a custom piece she previously wore for the Order of the Garter Service in June 2023. The dress, with its timeless 1940s-inspired silhouette, was a fitting nod to the historical significance of the occasion.
She accessorized with a black floral fascinator by Juliette Botterill, adding a touch of sophistication.
The Princess carried a camel DeMellier Nano Montreal handbag, and on her feet were the Ralph Lauren 'Celia' Calfskin Pump in RL Gold.
Completing Kate's elegant ensemble were Princess Diana's Collingwood drop pearl earrings.

Its lovely to see a rewear of this elegant and beautiful dress. It fits perfectly. The pearl earrings are beautiful and a lovely addition.

This isn't my favourite dress but it works for the event. I love the hat. I'm a little confused by the mix of brown and black accessories for a black and white dress ?
