On Monday, Catherine, Princess of Wales, joined her family to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, a poignant milestone marking the end of World War II in Europe.
Accompanied by Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Catherine participated in a series of events in London that underscored the royal family’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of past generations.
The day began with the Wales family observing a military procession of 1,300 personnel, including NATO allies, from a raised platform outside Buckingham Palace.

The family later appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals, to watch a flypast featuring historic and modern aircraft, including the Red Arrows.

Following the flypast, Catherine, Prince William, and Prince George attended a tea party at Buckingham Palace, where they warmly interacted with veterans and their families. This occasion represented a pivotal moment in Prince George’s journey as the future heir to the throne, deepening his understanding of his royal responsibilities.
For the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations, the Princess of Wales exuded elegance in a berry-toned Emilia Wickstead coatdress, previously worn in 2022 during the South African State Visit welcome ceremony.

Kate complemented her ensemble with a sophisticated Sean Barrett velvet pillbox hat and a new pair of diamond and ruby earrings. She also wore a matching ruby and diamond pendant necklace, which some believe is not the same one she debuted during the July 2017 Poland visit. Pinned to her lapel was a Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm brooch.
The triple-strand pearl bracelet, once belonging to Princess Diana, added a sentimental touch.

Very Elegant. Also very happy to see that she is adding some good jewellery into her collection, I always hated that she wears those cheap jewelleries, I mean come on you're a princess.

I don't think it's the same necklace the Princess wore in Poland, the amount of diamonds around the ruby seems to be different (maybe 2 or 3 less), the stone also seems to be a little smaller than the one she wore in Poland.

Good Evening, WhatKateWore is suggesting the necklace is in fact new as they reference some differences from the 2017 pendant. Do we have any conformation from brands? My eyes wouldn't know the difference between the pendants!
