Queen Mary’s Diamond Choker BraceletQueen Mary’s Diamond Choker Bracelet dates back to the 1920s, crafted in an Art Deco design from diamond bars and it was originally worn by Queen Mary as a choker. After her death in 1953, the piece disappeared from public view until 1975, when the Queen Mother wore it as a bracelet in portraits celebrating her 75th birthday. Upon her passing in 2002, the bracelet was inherited by Queen Elizabeth II, though she never wore it. In 2015, the late Queen loaned it to the Duchess of Cambridge (now Princess of Wales), who has since worn it on several high-profile occasions. |
