It’s been a busy day for the Duchess of Cambridge, first visiting a school in London to launch Children's Mental Health week wearing her red Luisa Spagnoli skirt suit, before heading to the Guild of Health Writers Conference with Prince William this evening.
Kate opted for another skirt suit for her second engagement, this time by Oscar de la Renta.
Whilst Kate has worn Oscar de la Renta before in the form of earrings, this is the first occasion she has donned a collection piece by the fashion house of the Dominican-American designer.
The wool-blend separates are from Oscar de la Renta's ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2015 line - the maiden collection of Peter Copping, Oscar’s handpicked successor.
The silhouette of the jacket is consistent with Kate's prim style. It has all the features she loves such as a pointed collar, button-up front and a pleating flared hem. The designer describes the colour as 'ultraviolet'. The tailored peplum jacket retailed for US$2,190 before being reduced to US$1,095 at Moda Operandi.
The matching full pleated skirt features a full shape with box pleating. The flared skirt retailed for US$1,290 before being reduced to US$491 at Moda Operandi.
Several readers have suggested the Duchess may have worn the suit for the Queen's Pre-Christmas luncheon.
Kate complemented the suit with the same pieces from earlier today and added opaque stockings.
She accessorized with her beloved black suede Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch and Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' pumps.

And finally her trusty timepiece, the Cartier Ballon Bleu Watch.
