This morning, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge bid farewell to the people of Bhutan before boarding a plane to Agra, India for the final stop of their royal tour.
There was a formal send-off by Bhutanese officials at Paro Airport.
For the departure, Kate repeated the Alexander McQueen white eyelet skirt suit. The Duchess first wore it for the Diamond Jubilee tour of Singapore in September 2012. The two-piece bespoke skirt suit is crafted from a white broderie anglaise (eyelet) cotton fabric. The top features a deep v-neckline, belted waist and cuffed short sleeves. It is paired with a matching full a-line skirt that finishes at the knee.
@APP_Editor manged to find a photo of Kate's earrings. She wore her KIKI Lauren Yellow Gold Diamond Pave Leaf Earrings.
Kate also wore an elegant gold and diamond pendant necklace given to her by Queen Jetsun of Bhutan. The pendant motif denotes one of the eight auspicious symbols in Buddhism & symbolizes union of wisdom and great compassion.
ID UPDATE (20/04/2016)
People magazine tracked down the makers of Kate's gifted pendant necklace from the Queen of Bhutan. The Diamond & Gold Endless Knot pendant was crafted by a local Bhutanese jeweler, Sonam Rabgye. It is made from 18ct yellow gold and retails for US$1200
Following the two hour flight to Agra, William and Kate will freshen up and have lunch ahead of their much anticipated visit to the Taj Mahal.
