WHAT'S NEW IN KATE'S CLOSET
The blue Eliza J lace dress repliKate of the Erdem fit fairly true to size. One of the negative reviews I saw was regarding the stiffness of the sleeves. I agree that the sleeves are slightly stiff, but I really had no problems wearing the dress to a wedding reception and the dancing portion afterwards. I wore my Sledge pumps, seriously, I am amazed how my feet can withstand both standing and dancing in them.
Overall I will happily wear this ensemble again. I am also excited to wear my long Zarita again.
Loving the lace!
There were two sizes available, UK 8 and UK 18. I'm petite so I went with the UK 8 and it fits pretty good. It is as described. The buttons are perfect size and easy to use. I love the button 'belt' detail on the sleeves and it is the perfect length. I was worried that the fact that it was a maternity could would be very obvious, but it's not! I can only tell when its laying flat on the bed. The inside is fully lined with a lovely white satin.
The only issue is very minimal. Amazon mentioned that it had a "removable zip panel for early and post pregnancy". No zip panel was to be found-- not sure what happened there. I was also a little thrown off with the coat material. I hope I am explaining this right, but I expected a smoothe fabric and I was surprised to see it was "bumpy". The pictures on Amazon and the JoJo website are misleading!
