The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge attended the Bahamas Platinum Jubilee Sailing Regatta at Montagu Bay, Bahamas on the seventh day of the Royal Tour of the Caribbean.
They greeted crowds and spoke to a local fisherman as they walked along Montagu Bay.
They took to the seas to watch a sailing race involving young people from the Royal Nassau Sailing Club.
The couple then joined the competitive spirit, and faced off in separate Bahamian sloop boats. Unfortunately for the Duchess and her Ants Nest II boat, Prince William’s sailboat, the Susan Chase, won the race.

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge attended a commissioning parade at the Jamaican Defence Force on day six of the Platinum Jubilee Royal Tour of the Caribbean.
The inaugural Commissioning Parade is for service personnel across the Caribbean who have recently completed the Military Academy’s Officer Training Programme. Prince William, a former Household Calvary officer, wore his Blues and Royals No 1 Tropical dress.
The Duchess wore an ivory lace dress by Alexander McQueen. The bespoke design features a square neckline, floral lace overlay with scalloped trim, short and sheer puffed sleeves, and a ribbon waistband.
This photo offers a look at the back of the dress.
Many have noted its similarity to a dress The Queen wore at a 1954 garden party in Australia.
Kate elevated the formal look with a new saucer hat by Philip Treacy, featuring flowers on the top of the brim and underside.
She carried a new Anya Hindmarch 'Maud' Pearl-Embellished Satin Clutch bag in ivory (£395). The clutch is available to buy at Anya Hindmarch, Net-A-Porter, and Matches Fashion.
On her feet were a new pair of Emmy London 'Rebecca' pumps in Ivory (£415).
For jewellery, The Duchess wore The Queen's diamond and pearl drop earrings. She also had on Princess Diana’s Nigel Milne three-strand pearl bracelet.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bade farewell to Jamaica on the sixth day of the the Platinum Jubilee Royal Tour of the Caribbean.
The couple boarded their RAF Voyager plane from Norman Manley International Airport bound for the Bahamas for the final leg of the tour.
The Duchess choose an Emilia Wickstead repeat for the departure. She donned the green 'Denver' dress first seen at last year's Wimbledon Ladies Singles Final.
Kate paired it with the Jamaican Hummingbird Brooch, which was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II during Her Majesty's visit to the Caribbean island nation in 2002. It takes the form of the Jamaican National Doctor Bird, a species of hummingbird only found in Jamaica.
We saw the return of the Kiki Cushion Citrine Drops in Yellow Gold with what look to be new plain gold hoops. Kate usually pairs the drops with the KIKI diamond hoops as shown here.
They appear to be the Kiki Plain Hoops in Yellow Gold (£600).
On her feet were a new pair of Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in the Bisque colourway ($695). ID by Middleton Maven.
We expect to see a mid-flight wardrobe change for the arrival into the Bahamas.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in The Bahamas this afternoon ahead of the third and final leg of the Platinum Jubilee Royal Tour of the Caribbean.
They were greeted by eight year old Aniah Moss who handed Kate a bunch of flowers, followed by a ceremonial welcome by members of the military at Lynden Pindling International Airport.
The couple then paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Philip Davis and his wife at the PM's office in Nassau.
The Duchess honoured the national flag for her arrival into The Bahamas today, wearing an aquamarine dress by Emilia Wickstead.
The bespoke fit-and-flare dress features a bateau downturned neckline that appears in a style from Wickstead's FW22 collection.
Kate carried a matching aquamarine suede envelope clutch bag, possibly a custom piece made for the outfit.
She had on the same Gianvito Rossi 105 Pumps in Bisque from earlier today.
The Duchess debuted the Sézane 'Taylor' Earrings in Turquoise (£100).
Kate wore her up in a playful ponytail and accessorized with a pearl-embellished hairband.
Kate looks glamorous in green Jenny Packham gown for Governor General's reception in Jamaica23/3/2022
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a dinner hosted by the Governor General of Jamaica at King's House this evening.
The Duchess looked glamorous in an emerald green off-the-shoulder gown by Jenny Packham. Here's look at the dress from different angles.
The custom piece is based on the designer's 'Wonder' glitter tulle maxi dress ($5025).
There is also a similar illusion-neck style in black.
Tonight, The Duchess donned the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, and the Star of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO).
Kate wore emerald jewels from the royal collection.
According to Harper's Bazaar, the emeralds once belonged to Queen Mary's grandmother, and were made into jewelry at the request of Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar. However, @britishroyaljewels believes the emerald tassel parure may have been a gift to The Queen from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, and was first worn by Her Majesty in 1989. It consists of a necklace, earrings, bracelet, and ring. Below we see The Queen wearing the emerald set in 2004 for a royal gala.
Tomorrow, The Duke and Duchess depart Jamaica to continue their third and final leg of the Caribbean royal tour in The Bahamas. |
