On Friday, the Princess of Wales shared a video message to open the "Children in Need" fundraising appeal on BBC One.
The three-hour show featured comedy, music, and surprise appearances as celebrities and performers united their talents in support of the charity. Below is the Princess's message of support.

On Wednesday, the Princess of Wales inaugurated the Shaping Us National Symposium in collaboration with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, held at the Design Museum in London.
The event brought together cross-disciplinary leaders, specialists in child and adult development, and global thinkers for the inaugural exploration of how our growth, cognition, and behavior evolve across the lifespan, aiming to foster resilience for the future.
The Princess delivered the keynote address.
Later on, Catherine participated in various panel discussions. The Symposium also presented the results of a worldwide listening exercise, where experts from 21 countries collaborated. The goal was to bring together insights on the crucial foundational skills developed in early childhood.

On Tuesday evening, The Princess of Wales attended the Shaping Us National Symposium reception at the Design Museum in London ahead of tomorrow’s launch.
The event will bring together cross-disciplinary leaders, specialists in child and adult development, and global thinkers for the inaugural exploration of how our growth, cognition, and behavior evolve across the lifespan, aiming to foster resilience for the future.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted departing from Clarence House just before midnight, where they joined other members of the royal family in celebrating the 75th birthday of King Charles III.
The Princess wore a £675 Needle & Thread 'Alicia' gown in emerald green featuring sequin embellishment in a scallop setting, ruffled round neckline and long sleeves.
At the moment, no other outfit details are known based on the limited photos available, and I don't expect we'll see more photos from this private event.
The Princess of Wales attended the annual National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London on Sunday morning.
She watched the service from the Foreign Office central balcony alongside Queen Camilla.
King Charles III led the nation in Remembrance, joined at the Cenotaph by his siblings, Prince Edward and Princess Anne, as well as his son, Prince William.
For today's somber ceremony, The Princess chose to once again wear her black Catherine Walker military-inspired coat, which she first wore for Remembrance Sunday in 2019 (shown below).
This year, Kate paired the coat with a familiar Philip Treacy hat.
The wide-brimmed chapeau was initially worn for Prince William's Passing-Out Parade in 2006 and was later donned again at the Remembrance Sunday services in 2012 and 2017.
A look at the back of the hat and Kate's tucked updo.
The clutch bag we see beside her on the balcony is a new piece by Jennifer Chamandi (ID by RoyalWikipedia).
It's the 'Le 8 Gold Buckle' style in black suede (£730), showcasing the signature 'Eye Of The Needle' Gold Buckle on an envelope-inspired structure with a removable strap.
Data Duchess notes that the black bow gloves worn today appear to be the same unidentified pair that she carried at the late Queen's funeral.
Alongside her three poppies, the Princess wore a pin of the Fleet Air Arm, of which she was appointed Commodore-in-Chief by King Charles in August. A similar style is shown below.
Kate also wore a pair of pearl earrings that had not been seen on her before.
@CoutureRoyals notes that the earrings are part of a demi-parure once owned by Queen Elizabeth II. Kate initially showcased the Diamond and Pearl Leaf brooch from this set in July 2017 during a commemoration service in Belgium.
Below is a photo from the sole occasion when the late Queen was publicly seen wearing the Diamond and Pearl Leaf earrings, back in 2003 during a Commonwealth Summit dinner in Nigeria.
You can watch the service in full via The Telegraph's YouTube channel. |
