Today, The Duchess of Cambridge became Royal Patron of Family Action.
Her Majesty The Queen has passed the patronage to Kate having held the role for over 65 years. Her Majesty took the patronage over from Queen Mary in 1953. Family Action was founded in 1869 to help families facing difficult circumstances by giving them practical help and support. To mark her new patronage, The Duchess visited Peterley Manor Farm where she joined families and children supported by the charity taking part in Christmas activities.

The Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace this evening to mark 70 years of the NATO alliance.
Kate was joined by other members of the royal family including, the Princess Royal, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to meet NATO leaders. The Duchess debuted a jade green Alexander McQueen shirtdress. In this screengrab from a Daily Mail video shared by @21_royall on Twitter, we get a better glimpse at the length of dress.
The custom creation features a piquet band collar, puffed shoulders, inset waistband, and a pleated skirt. The piece appears to take inspiration from this McQueen ready-to-wear shirtdress.
Kate added a touch of glam with the diamond orbital teardrop earrings on loan from Her Majesty.
Unfortunately there are limited photos from this event and we have been unable to get a complete look at Kate's outfit. |
