Queen Elizabeth II officially celebrated her 91st birthday today with the Trooping the Colour parade. Although Her Majesty was born on 21 April, it has long been the tradition to publicly celebrate the Monarch's birthday on a day in the summer.
The Duchess of Cambridge attended her seventh consecutive Trooping the Colour event.
For the procession down the Mall, Kate rode in a carriage with Prince Harry and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Meanwhile, Prince William was on horseback alongside his father and Princess Anne, in their roles as Colonels.
Following the parade, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were reunited on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for the traditional RAF fly-past where they were joined by their adorable children.
Kate looked radiant today in a watermelon pink Alexander McQueen dress featuring a paper-bag waist detail.
Here's a look at the back of the dress.
The dress resembles this off-the-rack piece by Alexander McQueen (thanks to @PerthsFashion), made of silk, cotton and wool. Kate's frock was modified with a pleated neckline, long sleeves, and I suspect Kate had the skirt lengthened too.
The vibrant colour is a deviation from the subdued pastel tones she has worn in the past for this annual event.
Today, Kate coordinated the look with a matching pink hat from her go-to milliner Jane Taylor. The headpiece is fashioned with a sinamay base and folded material in three different shades of pink.
The hat is a customised version of the Jane Taylor 'Seriatopora' style described as a "small cocktail piece with tonal coin swirls." It has a retail price of £552.
Kate wore a pair of Her Majesty's diamond orbital teardrop earrings. This is the third occasion Kate has loaned the dazzling jewels - the first was in November 2016 for the Place2Be Awards, and then three weeks later for the Diplomatic Reception.
She also carried her cream Etui woven clutch bag.
It's always a treat to see the extended royal family enjoying the celebrations for the Monarch's birthday.
