Today was an early start for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who set off on an open-air drive around the Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site and a wildlife conservation site.
William and Kate were first welcomed by local people and park staff at the entrance to Kaziranga.
Shortly after, they commenced their open-drive into the jungle.
The park is home to elephants, water buffalo, the endangered swamp deer, tigers and Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, some of which the royal couple got to see.
The Duke and Duchess also met rangers inside Kaziranga to discuss their anti-poaching efforts.
As expected, the Duchess opted for a safari-chic look today, combining a crisp white patterned shirt with slim khaki pants.
Kate wore a bib ruffled-front blouse from iconic Australian brand R.M. Williams. She wore the brand's 'Gretna' shirt which heralds from their Autumn/Winter 2014 range. The white button-up features an all over sand/navy diamond dot print. I contacted RM Williams and they revealed the shirt was given to Kate as a gift during the 2014 Down Under Royal Tour.
Kate also debuted a pair of khaki ZARA Mid-Rise Biker Trousers (US$49). The skinny stretch pants feature knee detail. They were quickly identified by @MiddletonMaven.
On her feet were her well-worn Sebago 'Bala' Taupe/White Boat Shoes.
Kate also donned her Ray-Ban wayfarer shades.
The Duchess accessorised with her Kiki McDonough Citrine Pear-Drop earrings.
Kate arrived wearing a new taupe scarf with white trim.
@PerthsFashion identified the scarf - it is the beige Flora Indian embroidered stole (£180). Flora is a London based company that produces hand-woven pashmina’s in Kashmir, India. They use Chyangra pelt which is hand combed each spring from the feathery neck and chest wool of the the Himalayan mountain goat. Chyangra pelt is the most insulating in the world and is known to the world as Pashmina, the most luxurious out of all the 100% cashmere shawls.
Up next, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Panbari village, then the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, and they will finish the day at the Kaziranga Discovery Centre.
