This evening, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a little black dress from Temperley London to wear to the annual gala of her patronage SportsAid. This black-tie charity dinner held at Supernova in London’s Embankment Gardens, celebrates the achievements of athletes it has previously supported, as well as potential stars. You can read more about the event here. The 'Templeton' dress is from Temperley London's A/W 2012 collection and retailed for US$1385. It is described as having an "Audrey Hepburn feel" and inspired by "Renaissance stained glass." It is characterised by an intricate laser cut design with a contrast nude lining and made of a taffeta style fabric. It has a nipped in waist, slightly exaggerated shoulder, full skirt, and finished with a feminine scallop. Kate accessorized the dress with her Jimmy Choo Cosmic pumps in black suede which are available at Net-a-Porter for US$695. Kate added a pop of colour to her outfit with her modified Alexander McQueen red bow clutch. She completed her look with the art-deco style diamond set which were a gift from Prince Charles.
