Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen is a luxury fashion house founded by designer Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. Despite his sudden death in 2010, the brand has flourished under the direction of Sarah Burton. The house famously designed the bridal gown worn by Kate Middleton for her marriage to Prince William on 29 April 2011. Since her wedding day, the Duchess of Cambridge—now the Princess of Wales—has continued to commission Alexander McQueen for many of her official gowns, as well as customized ready-to-wear pieces and accessories.
