FASHION NEWS
This week, the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new label, Saloni. It is a London based contemporary womenswear brand founded by Indian-born designer, Saloni Lodha in 2011. The brand subtly draws on Saloni’s Indian heritage, re-interpreting prints, silhouette and colour in a modern way.
The addition of Saloni to Kate's repertoire of designers is perhaps a nod to the Cambridge's upcoming royal tour of India in 2016. I suspect Kate is doing her research on designers connected to the subcontinent. Here are some other pieces from Saloni's collection which I think echo Kate's style and perhaps we will see on the tour. COLLAGES BY KATIE
I have teamed up with Katie from one of my favourite Duchess-inspired Instagram accounts @KateMidleton. The account is filled with fun facts and intriguing information, but what I particularly love are Katie's collages. She creates an informative series of collages related to Catherine's sartorial choices. I have teamed up with Katie to reproduce the collages, and each week I'll be sharing one in the newsletter.
This week, we take a look at Kate's least expensive headwear.
1: Kate returned to an old favourite brand, Really Wild Clothing, in the event of a scout camp in 2013 where she chose their 'Lindsay' cap. £49
2: Kate brought back her Whiteley 'Steph' beret for an engagement in 2013 that she was first seen wearing a few months before her wedding. £99 3: This Whiteley cappuccino taupe hat is one of Kate's most worn headpieces. Worn four times, it retails for £99. 4: This 'Betty Boop' brown pillbox hat by Lock & Co is another well worn piece. £245 5: Lock & Co black beret worn to 2013's Remembrance Sunday service, a friend's wedding early last year and an engagement with the Queen in 2011. £296 6: Sylvia Fletcher Canadian maple leaf hat worn in 2011 £285 7: Lock & Co black fascinator worn in France last year and to her last engagement before George's birth in 2013. £300 8: Jonathan Howard navy headpiece worn on the last day of the Royal Australian tour last year. £328 9: Jane Corbett black brimmed hat worn to two Remembrance Sunday services. £350 10: Jane Corbett burgundy velvet hat worn to a Christmas Day church service. £400 11: Gina Foster Millinery cream hat worn to Zara Phillip's wedding in 2011. £410 12: Jane Corbett headpiece worn to the 2012 Trooping the Colour. £450

FASHION UPDATES
It's been surprising to see Kate wear two pieces from Dolce & Gabbana in the space of only a few weeks. So I wanted to take a peek at what else the Italian design house has to offer. I came across these Duchess-worthy styles:
----------
Want a free pair of earrings from Links of London!? They are giving away a pair of the Hope diamond pave earrings when your spend over £275. You may recall that Kate owns a pair of their Hope Egg Sterling Silver & White Topaz Earrings.

Back in February the Duchess helped launch the Emma Bridgewater pottery range for East Anglia's Children’s Hospices (EACH). Emma Bridgewater has now expanded the EACH range and added these adorable jute tote bags to the collection. For each bag sold, they'll donate 10% to the charity.
