I will be away from Wednesday to Sunday so unfortunately I will not have time to produce this week's Wrap-Up.

Kate's week kicked off with a red carpet event. On Sunday, she joined Prince William for her first British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards ceremony at Royal Albert Hall in London. She looked glamorous in an off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown. Click to read more >
On Valentine's day, the Duchess had a 'date' with the RAF Air Cadets in Wittering. Her sartorial choice was on point, sporting a new red military inspired blazer by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini for the occasion. Click to read more >
NEXT WEEK'S ENGAGEMENTS ...
22nd Feb 2017
The Duchess of Cambridge will visit two Action for Children projects supporting vulnerable families in Wales. You can check out Kate's complete schedule here. REPLIKATE ROUNDUP
Below are my favourite repliKates of the week ...
MIX & MATCH
Kate's outfits are impeccable but can sometimes need a little tweaking for us "normal folk" to adapt for daily wear. In this occasional segment, I show how you can create everyday repliKate outfits by mixing and matching key pieces with your wardrobe essentials!
Kate's bespoke Alexander McQueen violet jacquard gown was a big hit with fans when she stepped out on the BAFTAs red carpet. Unfortunately most of us rarely have a need for a formal gown so below I've taken a casual approach to the dress and teamed it with some of Kate's beloved accessories plus repliKates.
IF I WERE KATE'S STYLIST
I'm sure many of you would agree that having the role of Kate's stylist would be the best job in the world! Seriously, how much fun would it be to help Kate shop and experiment with new looks!? In this occasional segment, I showcase my daydream outfits for the Duchess!
Following Kate's Air Cadets engagement there was a public outcry for the Duchess to ditch her skin-tight jeans when attending official engagements. Whilst I personally love skinny jeans and jeggings (I own over 10 pairs) I would love to see the Duchess polish-up her "smart-casual" style. The beautiful Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini blazer she debuted this week would have looked more refined if it were paired with classic slim trousers and sophisticated loafers. I'm obsessed with scarfs and I think this outfit desperately needed one to help soften the contrast between the red and black. What do you think?

I was so thrilled to see the Duchess of Cambridge step out in an Oscar de la Renta number this week! I loved the bold "ultraviolet" hue of the separates, however I was underwhelmed with the styling of the ensemble (although it was on-point for the occasion). If Kate does decide to repeat the skirt suit, I would love to see her inject some playfulness into the outfit. Oscar de la Renta skirt suits are often accessorized with gloves on the runway, and I think Kate's Cornelia James Imogen bow gloves would work well with the cropped sleeve jacket. Pretty floral courts and cluster earrings would complement the look.

This week's designer debut of Oscar de la Renta had me itching to check out the latest ready-to-wear pieces from the fashion of house of the American designer. Oscar de la Renta has been a staple of the White House closet since Jacqueline Kennedy was the first to famously wear the designer. With the recent premier of Carolina Herrera and now de la Renta, perhaps this signals a move toward more more refined high-end luxury labels in Kate's closet! I can see the Duchess in any one of these creations below: MEGHAN'S FASHION
I've been quietly working away on a new website! It's titled Meghan's Fashion and chronicles the style of Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle :)

Sorry repliKaters, there won't be a Wrap-Up this week. I'm heading out of town for a few days to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary! I'll be back in time to cover Kate's engagement on Sunday 5th February where she'll join William & Harry for a Heads Together training day for the London Marathon.
