NEWSIn last week's newsletter, I firmly predicted that the new royal baby would be here by the end of this week. It's a good thing I'm not a betting woman because I would be broke by now! So rather than filling this News section with details about the new Prince or Princess, I'll have to settle for some bits and bobs about a couple "Kate sightings" throughout the week. The New York paper, Daily News reported that Kate spent last weekend in Bucklebury, and was photographed with Prince George at Bucklebury Farm Park, near the Middleton home of Carole and Micheal. Kate was dressed casually in a plain navy sweater, skinny jeans, olive jacket and Mint Velvet plimsolls. People Magazine then reported that on Monday afternoon Kate was back in London and spotted shopping at her local Zara Home store. There are no photos to back up the story but sources claim she was wearing a blue and white top (sounds like it could be her Ralph Lauren 'Tori' top or ME+EM breton top), jeans and high-heeled wedges (perhaps her 'Corkswoon' or 'Imperia' wedges). REPLIKATE ROUNDUP Below are my favourite repliKates of the week ... REPLIKATE REVIEW This week I received a handcrafted repliKate of the Asprey 167 Button necklace from Racholly Jewelery. The Asprey pendant has been seen on Kate more than any other necklace and is a signature piece of hers. However, with a price tag of US$4000 I could only dream about having it in my jewellery box! The Racholly Asprey repliKate has a fantastic sparkle and the pendant has a nice weight to it. It is the same size as the original and made of Swarovski crystals featuring a centre crystal is amethyst purple, all set in sterling silver. All of Racholly's pieces are handcrafted using quality materials and it's obvious they took special care in the design of the Asprey inspired necklace to make a quality but affordable pendant. Racholly has been kind enough to offer Kate's Closet readers 10% off their entire collection of Kate inspired jewellery using coupon code kc530. Or if you follow Racholly Jewelery via Facebook or Twitter then you will receive a coupon code that is valid storewide. DUCHESS INSPIRED MOTHER'S DAY Mother's Day is just around the corner and if you're still hunting for a gift for your mum/mom then why not turn to the Duchess of Cambridge for some inspiration. Here are my top gift ideas to say thanks say to the special woman in your life ... If you need some Mother's Day outfit ideas, how about this aptly inspired Lindo Wing ensemble: FASHION UPDATES It's always a thrill to get news about an ID, especially for an item that has been a UFO for so long! This week, Brittany of the Facebook page Repli-Kate It found a bright pink Jaime Mascaro suede clutch similar to Kate's black suede ribbon clutch. Brittany changed the hue to visibly show the comparison with Kate's bag. Although the company has neither confirmed nor denied ownership of the clutch, the similarities are undeniably close and I think we can be confident with this ID. Shop repliKates ... NEWS
The Great Kate Wait #2 is in full swing and there's been some activity down at St Mary's Hospital this week. On Tuesday, parking restrictions were enforced around the Lindo Wing. These were the first step of the preparations, and later in the week, positions for photographers, reporters and camera crews were marked.

This week we were treated to some heart-melting photos of Kate enjoying a play date with His Royal Cuteness, Prince George. They were published by the Australian magazine, New Idea. Click to read more >

Another candid photo of Kate emerged this week. The Duchess was spotted stuck in traffic last week in London. Prince George is in the back seat:

Last month I posted a repliKate of the Jack Wills 'Debarn' blouse from Ann Taylor. One of my Facebook followers bought it and kindly shared her thoughts on the blouse:
(It) finally arrived and I love it! Very pretty floral soft polyester prints. The buttons are hidden. This shirt is longer on the back than the front (shirttail) so I would tuck in like Kate did. If you’re between size then size down.

After seeing these pics of Marianna in her newly acquired Jaeger silk shirt dress, I'm starting to warm to this frock. I admit I wasn't a fan when I first saw Kate wear it, but Marianna looks fab in it and I love the way she has styled it. Read what Marianna has to say about the dress:
I thought I'd share my view on Kate's Jaeger silk shirt dress. I know this wasn't a hit with many people in the community, but having seen it up close and personal it's a fab dress, plus now it's on sale. The dress is fab quality, a fluid, sumptuous silk, and the print is perfectly matched at the same. The contrasting panels at the hips and hem add movement without optically enlarging the figure, something I was slightly worried prior to ordering. I've been wearing this to work all the time, both with flats as recommended on the Jaeger website, and with a pair of repli-Kate grey suede heels from Zara. I can't recommend it enough, if you're thinking about getting it, I promise you won't be disappointed!

POLL RESULTS
In last week's newsletter I run a poll to get your predictions on the gender and name of Baby Cambridge #2. Here are the results ...
It's obvious that most think or hope the royal couple will have a baby girl! The bookies still have Alice as the clear favorite for a girl's name but it seems my readers are favoring Charlotte closely followed by Victoria. For a boy's name, James is a popular choice with my readers and the bookies.
Hopefully all will be revealed this week :) NEWS
This week, Kensington Palace held a press briefing to reveal some important information about the impending birth of Baby Cambridge #2.
Here are the top 7 things you need to know:
* The media will not be allowed to set up camp outside the Lindo Wing until after the Duchess has been admitted into labour. * William will have about a two hour commute from work to get to the hospital. * They do not know the gender of the baby. * If the baby is born after 10pm the announcement will be made from 8am the next morning. * They have not decided if they will bring George to the hospital to meet his sibling. * After leaving the hospital, they will spend a few days at Kensington Palace before retiring to Anmer Hall in Norfolk for the summer. * Kate is expected to be on maternity leave for at least 3 months. William will have two weeks paternity leave. They currently have no plans to hire additional staff/nannies at this point. REPLIKATE ROUNDUP

REPLIKATE REVIEW
This week, Giulia G. has offered a detailed review of her latest repliKate purchase, the Stella McCartney 'Ridley' blue dress:::
First I must say that I balanced colors in pictures so the shade of blue you see is exact the same of the dress you receive.
Ok, let’s go! The dress is from Aliexpress (I paid it less than $30!!!) and it’s pretty good, very well sewed (the inner part of the sleeves’ hem is double so you can’t see the seams, very good detail) and zip is almost invisible. I don’t think fabric is cotton but something synthetic as polyester (tag doesn’t say anything about material). As every product from Aliexpress the packaging is not excellent, a simple black plastic bag. About size: like every dress from Asian websites sizes are a little trouble, I followed the instructions written on seller’s page and I ordered the S (I’m 1.63m and 48 kg) and it’s perfect. I suggest you to forget your usual size (mine is XS, so it runs small) and just follow the size chart. It’s so similar to the original dress, maybe the color is a little bit darker but the shape is the same. I tried it with heels and it appear so refined but it’s so nice even matched with a simple pair of flat shoes. The dress has no lining but the fabric is soft and comfy. When I received the dress I washed it and the water was clear so it doesn’t fade! So: Care of details: 4 stars Size: runs small Packaging: 2 stars Fit: 5 stars Price/quality: 5 stars (remember that this dress is so cheap so you can’t expect to buy the same quality of the original item) Similarity to the original: 8/10 Global impressions: 9/10 P.S. the only negative thing was the delivery…it took 8 weeks, but I ordered it during the Chinese New Year holiday so there were some delays.

KATE'S TOP 3 MATERNITY OUTFITS
In last week's newsletter, I ran a poll to find what you all thought was the best outfit worn by the Duchess of Cambridge during her second pregnancy. The votes have been tallied and here are the top 3 ensembles as voted by you!
Of the 35 outfits worn by Kate during this pregnancy, the Beulah London ensemble was the clear favorite and took out over 1/3 of the votes! It was a close contest for second place between the Seraphine 'Marina' coat outfit and the ASOS dotted dress.
POLLS
Following on from last week's maternity outfit poll, I received many requests to offer a poll to vote on the baby's gender and name. So here you go folks! Do you think the Duchess is expecting a boy or a girl, and what is your favorite name for the new prince or princess?
Here's my guess ... I'm hoping for a girl born on April 25th (my hubby's birthday) and that they name her either Alice or Adelaide (the names of my two nieces).
I look forward to seeing your predictions! NEWS
This week, the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted around town. There were reports she popped into the Humble Pie bakery in Burnham Market, a 40-minute drive from Amner Hall. According to locals she stocked up on some sweet treats, buying the Wicked Chocolate Biscuit Cake and sticky fruit loaf during her recent shopping trip.
Mid-week, there was some buzz on Twitter that Kate was spotted in Kings Lynn, Norfolk buying a printer and kitchen supplies from The Range. She reportedly wore a black top, beige trousers, black boot.
Yesterday, there was another sighting of Kate out shopping, wearing her Seraphine 'Marina' coat and Stuart Weitzman Zipkin boots. No details have yet emerged of where this was taken.
REPLIKATE ROUNDUP
Below are my favourite repliKate finds of the week ...
The Pied a Terre shoe brand was recently dissolved by Dune London, but it's pleasing to see that Dune London has continued to manufacturer similar styles to the 'Imperia' wedge. This season, Dune London released an excellent repliKate of the Imperia called 'Karley'. Giulia G. has kindly shared a detailed review of the 'Karely' wedge:
Here is my review about Dune London Karley Canvas Espadrille (in color black), the perfect replikate of Imperia Wedges from Pied a Terre. I ordered them from Amazon.it because I paid less than Dune official website. First I say that this is not a comparison because I don’t own Imperia wedges but a simple review about Karley wedges. They come very well packed with a lot of paper and a plastic stick to keep them in the right shape. They are sooo good in every details, canvas in pretty soft, no visible glue or not fixed seams, they are so comfy and size is true, so order your usual size and it will be perfect (this is my second pair of Dune shoes, my mum and dad ordered 3 or 4 pairs and they are all perfect). The inside part could appear rough but it’s so comfy. The price is pretty good 59£ (instead of 85£ for Imperia) and I got free shipping from Amazon.it. They are going to be my fav shoes for next summer, they could be elegant or casual at the same time, matched with a dress or a pair of jeans. So:
Care of details: 5 stars Size: True Packaging: 5 stars Comfort: 5 stars Price/quality: 5 stars Similarity to the original: 10/10 Global impression: 10/10 P.S on Dune website there is a one star review, don’t care and trust me, they are amazing

I was delighted to receive another review from Margaret. This week she road-tested a repliKate of the Mappin & Webb 'Empress' necklace.
Pretty much all of Kate's jewelry collection is beyond my reach so I am always looking for cheaper pieces that resemble hers. I purchased the Icz Stonez Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Medallion Necklace from Overstock.com (Thanks to Katescloset.com.au for the tip!) The brand name sounded cheesy and chintzy, but for less than $20 and with a nice picture, it seemed like a worthwhile gamble. I'm so pleased that I purchased it. It is beautiful and looks far more expensive than it was. It's a good everyday piece because it is lightweight and understated with just enough sparkle. I wear it all the time and it looks the same as when I purchased it. (I've even swam with it and exercised with it on.) So many cheaper jewelry pieces tarnish/rub off over time. This one is a winner.

A few weeks ago I posted a repliKate for the Zimmermann Roamer day dress from Dillards. Tiffany LeFevre snapped one up and was kind enough to write a review.
It finally arrived!! (Please forgive my post-work mess of a head, but I had to try the dress on immediately) This is the Zimmermann repliKate from Dillard's. It fits like a glove. I went by my measurements on their size chart, which was pretty much true to size. The skirt had more of an a-line fit than I thought it would, based on the website photo. I was very pleased with that because it looks very close to the real deal. It is lined, which is a plus. This could very possibly be my favorite repliKate purchase!
