Welcome to the first edition of the Kate's Closet Newsletter! I'm excited to finally offer my readers a weekly wrap-up of the life and style of the Duchess of Cambridge! NEWSThis week the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated her 33rd birthday on January 9th. The Duchess most likely spent her birthday quietly with family and friends. According to OK magazine, the animal welfare organization PETA, gifted a "classy green coat" to the Duchess on her birthday. The vegan coat is made from high-end faux-wool. UPCOMING ENGAGEMENTS Thursday, 15th Jan 2015 The Duchess of Cambridge, Royal Patron of The Art Room, will officially name The Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School, London. Kate will greet Barlby Primary School staff and students, speak to children who attend Art Room workshops, and join a round table discussion about the work of The Art Room. Friday, 16th Jan 2015 The Duchess of Cambridge will attend an event hosted by The Fostering Network to celebrate the work of foster carers in providing support to vulnerable young people. She will be given an overview of the world of fostering by meeting care leavers and social workers before joining a reception for people involved in fostering. Monday 19th Jan 2015 The Duchess of Cambridge will undertake a day of engagements in Kensington. She will have morning coffee at Family Friends Kensington to meet volunteers and get an overview of the organisation's work supporting vulnerable families. Kate will then visit Kensington Aldridge Academy to formally open the new school. Her day will conclude with a visit Kensington Leisure Centre to formally open the new leisure centre. This season, they have rendered the silhouette of the Roamer dress in a lovely blue floral print. ---------- LK Bennett has a new season update of their bestselling 'Lasa' poppy dress, named 'Lasana'. It comes in a vibrant pink colour. ---------- The Michael Kors coat worn by Kate on the final day of the Royal Tour Downunder has popped up on Yoox. ---------- Stuart Weizmann has added new colour options for their popular 'Corkswoon' wedges. In addition to blue suede, they now also come in Pyrite Nocturn and Leopard. ---------- ME+EM have restocked their Breton stripe top in all sizes. SAVVY SALESTemperley London has taken further reductions off their winter stock. Below are my picks from the sale. ---------- Another Kate favourite Reiss, has also reduced their sale stock prices.
