NEWS Just when we thought we knew the fashion habits of the Duchess of Cambridge, she threw us a curve ball on St Patrick's Day! We all expected Kate to wear something green to the traditional Irish Guards parade at Mons Barracks, however she surprised us with an all-brown outfit. WHAT'S NEW IN KATE'S CLOSET This week, Kate debuted a couple new pieces from her closet: REPLIKATE ROUNDUP Below are my favourite repliKate finds of the week ... ---------- Easter is nearly here so I thought I'd put together a Duchess inspired outfit for the holiday. I think this outfit will work well for both northern and southern hemisphere climates. REPLIKATE REVIEW This week, Margaret has kindly shared two repliKate reviews. The first is for the Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer Sunglasses repliKates from Amazon: I purchased a replikate of the Ray-Ban Tortoise Folding Wayfarer Sunglasses from Amazon for $10. I am very pleased with them and they have quickly become my favorite pair of sunglasses. They are comfortable and very flattering. The folding feature is also very nice. They are a good replikate, especially for the price. ---------- Margaret has also reviewed these $2.50 repliKates for the Mirabelle Lolita earrings she bought from eBay: I really liked the Mirabelle Lolita earrings when Kate wore them. However, I wear mostly silver tone earrings, so it didn't seem financially wise to buy the original earrings. When I saw the repliKate Ebay version on katescloset.com.au, I was very excited. For just a few dollars, I could have a similar look. I went ahead and purchased them. They arrived in about a week and I am pleased with them! They capture the essence of the original. The eBay earrings are plainer, smooth hoops. (It looks like the Mirabelle ones have a texture and a thicker ring.) All in all, I am happy with my purchase. If you would like to submit a review of your recent repliKate purchase, please send an email to [email protected]. Please include a short review about the quality and fit, the product link, and photos (optional but recommended). FASHION UPDATES This week I found several sizes of the Somerset boat print dress in stock: SAVVY SALES One of Kate's favorite high-street labels, Hobbs is having a mid-season sale with up to 50% off a gorgeous range of apparel. Here are some highlights from the sale: ---------- One of my top destinations for repliKate hunting is Kohls. This weekend they have an extra 20% off with code YES2SAVING. Within 5 minutes of browsing I came across these repliKates. I know there's a lot more on the site but I'll leave it to you to explore :) WIN! WIN! WIN!
