The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed to Portsmouth today to cheer on Sir Ben Ainslie and his crew BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) as they competed in the America's Cup World Series. The royal couple showed their support by wearing matching BAR fleece tops, complete with their titles on the back.
The Land Rover BAR Aura half zip micro fleece top is available from Henri Lloyd:
Under the fleece, we got a glimpse of a white and black striped top. A strong possibility is the ME+EM breton top.
Kate paired the tops with her Zara jeans (thanks to Stephanie Champion Helton for the ID) which have been in her closet since 2012/2013. The exact style is not known. On her feet were the Sebago 'Bala' taupe boat shoes.
Kate added a touch of understated glamor with her Annoushka Pearl Drops and Kiki Diamond Hoop Earrings.
Because of the inclement weather, Kate decided it was best to wear her hair up in a pretty ponytail.
This look has become somewhat of a uniform for Kate at water-sport events:
Unfortunately, the stormy weather dampened the festivities of the day and the race had to be cancelled due to the dangerous sea conditions. However, the Duke and Duchess continued with their schedule and toured the BAR team base to see their state of the art facilities and meet staff and families.
Th Duchess who is royal patron of the 1851 Trust meet children who recently had their first sailing experience with the aid of the Trust. Later, Kate was presented with pint-sized BAR tops for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The Duke and Duchess concluded their visit to Portsmouth with a medal presentation. The cancellation of Sunday's race meant that the prizes were settled on Saturday’s results – leaving Land Rover BAR as winners.
The Duchess made a quick change into her Zara double breasted navy blazer and Stuart Weitzman 'Corkswoon' wedges.
This is also an outfit she has donned at other sporting events:
We also got a glimpse of the Mappin & Webb 'Fortune' necklace.

The Duchess of Cambridge, an avid fan of tennis, took some timeout from mummy duties to enjoy the Grand Slam action at Wimbledon today with Prince William.
The Royal couple arrived just after midday and took their seats in the Royal Box to watch the quarter finals clash on Centre Court between Andy Murray and Vasek Pospisil. Kate was easy to spot in the crowd wearing a fiery red frock. The dress was quickly identified by @livelovelaughvr as the L.K.Bennett 'Cayla' dress in Cardinal Red. It is from the new season collection and retails for £250. The 'Cayla' has a full skirt that falls below the knee, a round neckline, princess seams and notched elbow length sleeves.
This dress is in stark contrast to Kate's usual choice of white which she has worn every year she has attended Wimbledon. Here's a look back at some of her past outfits:
Today, the Duchess accessorised with her Diane von Furstenberg 'Lytton' leopard printed snake clutch, Mirabelle 'Lolita' hoop earrings and Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch.
We got a glimpse of the Jimmy Choo 'Gilbert' nude leather pumps on her feet.
Kate protected her eyes from the glare with her Ray-Bay Light Havana folding Wayfarer sunglasses.
Kate also sported a new hair style. Her fringe is noticeably shorter and her hair colour also appears lighter. In case you're wondering who won the match - Andy Murray did :) The Duke and Duchess a fans of the Scottish tennis champion and if Murray makes it through to the Grand Final we may get another visit from the Cambridge's to the All England Club!
The Duchess Of Cambridge turned to her favourite design house for her daughter Princess Charlotte's christening today, looking the epitome of grace and elegance in a bespoke Alexander McQueen ivory coat dress. The custom creation featured signature McQueen styling with a a wide lapel, peaked shoulders and a fit-and-flare silhouette.
It was no surprise the Duchess wore Alexander McQueen on this special day, just like she did for Prince George's christening in October 2013.
Today, Kate wore her hair in a glamorous up-do which was perfectly framed by a new bespoke Jane Taylor hat.
Kate cordinated the outfit with a pair of nude patent pumps. She premiered this style at last year's Buckingham Palace garden party.
It was established they were the Russell & Bromley '5th Ave' style, but I'm no longer convinced. The heel height and shape is different compared to the 5th Ave. I've started a conversation on Twitter with other bloggers to try resolve the mystery of these shoes. I'll keep you updated.
8/7/2015 UPDATE
Natalie left a comment below regarding the Russell & Bromley shoe debate and found this 'Pointy' style from the 2012 Russell & Bromley collection (shown in coral). The consensus is they are indeed the style worn by the Duchess! I'm so glad we got this resolved :)
Kate finished the look with her Mappin and Webb 'Empress' necklace and debuted a matching pair of earrings.
Head over to Princess Charlotte Style for a recap of today's events.

Gert's Royals tipped us off that the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George are featured in the current issue of German People Magazine. The photos were taken at Snettisham Park, a working farm and petting zoo near the Cambridge home in Norfolk. You may recall the royal duo last visited the farm in April just before Princess Charlotte was born. @PackhamGown kindly shared the contents of the magazine article: Kate, a country girl at heart, looked the part in a plaid shirt, signature skinny jeans and gumboots. The lovely ladies at What Would Kate Do were quick to identify the button-up top as the Zara red checked shirt (sold out). The jeans are most likely the Topshop maternity Moto Blue Leigh jeans while on her feet were a pair of Le Chameau 'Vierzon' leather lined wellington boots: Kate kept time with her Cartier Ballon Bleu Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch.
