The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a special performance of Dear Evan Hansen at the Noël Coward Theatre in London.
This evening's performance of the Tony Award-winning musical, which opened on London’s West End last year, will benefit The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Dear Evan Hansen is about a boy with social anxiety and depression navigating his complicated teenage life. It has been credited with helping teenagers speak about mental health and touches on the topic of suicide. Mental health is key priority of William and Kate's work for The Royal Foundation.
The flattering style is from the British brand's AW18 collection. The ready-to-wear piece has a button down front with a pointed collar, and a pleated midi skirt.
A look at the back of the dress.
It appears Kate had the original crown motif buttons replaced with rhinestone buttons.
The Duchess offset the look with her Jimmy Choo 'Romy 100' Silver Glitter Dégradé Pumps
She also carried a coordinating Jimmy Choo 'Ellipse' clutch (US$995) which we are seeing for the first time.
Kate finished the dazzling look with the Queen's Diamond Chandelier Earrings. Kate has worn these earrings on a number of occasions since she first borrowed them from Her Majesty for the 2011 visit to Los Angeles.
Kensington Palace put out a brief clip of tonight's outing.
Today The Duchess of Cambridge took her UK-wide "5 Big Questions" survey to Northern Ireland and Scotland, starting with a visit to The Ark Open Farm in County Down, Northern Ireland.
Kate meet with management, staff, and young children, as well as feed a lamb and handled ‘Sophie’ the corn snake. The Duchess spoke with local parents and grandparents about her landmark survey and their thoughts on the early years. Kate brought back a familiar casual look for the farm visit. She sported her trusty Barbour Waxed Defence Jacket.
She layered up with her pine green Seeland ‘Hawker’ quilt jacket beneath her Barbour.
Underneath the jackets, Kate debuted a new sweater. She wore the Pure Collection Cashmere Roll Neck Sweater in the Heather Cornflower colourway (£125).
The Duchess wore black skinny jeans paired with her beloved Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots.
The Duchess then traveled to Aberdeen, Scotland for a visit to the Social Bite Café, which provides assistance to those affected by homelessness.
Kate made a quick wardrobe change to create a more polished look for her visit to the social enterprise. She arrived wearing her grey Reiss 'Delany' coat. You may recall she debuted the coat in December of 2013 when she visited the Shooting Star House Children’s Hospice.
On her feet the Duchess wore her Aquatalia 'Fab-Dry' Ankle Boots.

The Duchess choose a navy custom outfit by Alexander McQueen today, perhaps as a quite tribute on the 10 year anniversary of the fashion designer's death. The wool-blend separates appear to be based on a ready-to-wear set from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall '17 collection (ID by @HeavenQRF).
The military-inspired peplum jacket in light wool silk is decorated with metal buttons on the waist and collar. It has a concealed button fastening on center front. Kate had the pleated midi skirt modified by removing the buttoned peplem detail.
The Duchess wore a similar silhouette in green for the 2019 St Patrick's Day parade.
Kate carried a new bag - the Alexander McQueen 'Wicca' mini satchel in black leather. She also owns this model in white leather, and raffia.
This particular style has been discontinued, however the 'Wicca' bag is currently available in black leather with a pipe trim at Net-a-Porter.
On her feet, the Duchess wore her black suede Ralph Lauren Collection High Heel Boot.
Kate accessorized the look with her Mappin & Webb 'Empress' Diamond Carriage Earrings.

Then it was time for a tasty treat at Joe's Ice Cream. The Duke and Duchess sampled Italian ice cream at the family run parlour which has been serving gelato since Joe Cascarini arrived from Italy in the early 1900s. The royal couple then headed to Port Talbot for a stop at the Tata Steel UK factory, a vital employer for the community.
