On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined several members of the Royal family at Chester Cathedral for the memorial service of the sixth Duke of Westminster.
Over 2,000 mourners including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and Princess Eugenie also paid tribute to the Duke of Westminster who died in August after suffering a heart attack.
Kate was dressed in black for the somber service.
The Duchess opted to repeat the black Alexander McQueen patchwork coat she debuted at Remembrance Sunday in 2015.
Today we got to see the piece in its entirety.
The bespoke double-breasted coat features a patchwork of compact felted wool and velvet. It is a fusion of these two styles from McQueen's Pre-Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.
Kate teamed the coat with her John Boyd wide-brimmed hat which she recently debuted at this year's Remembrance Sunday service. The hat is a perfect match for the patchwork coat, sporting a similar velvet trim.
She accessorized with her Pretty Ballerinas velvet bow clutch and Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Black Suede Pumps.
Kate finished the look with the diamond stud and pearl drop earrings on loan from Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Place2Be "Wellbeing in Schools" Awards this evening in her role as Royal Patron of the children's mental health charity. It was the second of two engagements today, following her earlier visit to the Natural History Museum.
Kate inaugurated the Wellbeing in Schools Awards in 2014 to recognise ambassadors of positive mental health and highlight the unique contribution that school communities make to the wellbeing of local communities.
The Duchess took time to chat with inspiring young people and parents who are involved with the organisation.
Before awarding this year's prizes, the Duchess delivered a speech acknowledging the work taking place across Place2Be schools in support of children’s mental health.
Kate dazzled in a black Preen dress as she arrived for tonight's ceremony at Mansion House, the official residence of London's Lord Mayor.
She opted for a familiar silhouette, wearing the designer's 'Finella' midi dress (£1,000) - a style she recently debuted in red for a reception at Government House in Victoria, Canada.
Kate jazzed up the 50's-inspired cocktail dress with a black crystal bow belt from Temperley London.
The piece originates from Temperley London's Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection and was previewed with the designer's 'Noa' coat - which the Duchess also has in her closet.
She accessorized with her black Mulberry 'Bayswater' suede clutch and a new pair of black suede perforated pumps.
They are the Prada Suede Cutout Wave Pumps (US$750). The Italian-made 3.3" heels have a pointed-toe and feature a wave cutout detail.
Kate finished the look with a new pair of earrings. @AnnieElizabethN suggests the diamond orbital teardrop earrings are on loan from Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Majesty wore them for the State Opening of Parliament in 2012, however their provenance is unknown.

The Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise visit to the Natural History Museum (NHM) for a children's tea party to give Dippy the Diplodocus – one of the museum’s best recognised exhibits – a royal send-off.
She joined primary children for dino-inspired crafts and a mini fossil dig in her role as patron of NHM. The Duchess then joined the museum’s director Sir Michael Dixon to cut a celebratory cake to bid farewell to the 21.3 metre plaster-cast Diplodocus, which is set to leave its coveted spot at the entrance to the museum for a nationwide tour. Kate stepped out for today's royal send-off in a new dress by one of her favourite high street brands, L.K.Bennett. She wore the label's 'Cersei' evergreen silk dress (£375). The midi dress features a sheer neckline and sleeves, and is crafted from a luxe silk-blend chiffon with textured velvet print. It is currently in stock at LK Bennett (UK) and John Lewis. This number is reminiscent of the brand's Addison dress which she wore for dinner with the Obamas back in April. Kate teamed the dress with a new pair of textured grey heels from a brand we have not seen her wear before. She premiered the Hugo Boss 'Staple P90-L' embossed leather pumps (£315) in the Anthracite colourway. The Italian-made BOSS pumps have a pointed-toe box and 9 cm stiletto heel. They are made from embossed calf-skin leather and feature a branded bar-shaped ornament at the heel.
She finished the look with her KIKI 'Lauren' Yellow Gold Diamond Pave Leaf Earrings.
This morning members of the royal family attended the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the ceremony and watched the service from the Foreign Office balcony alongside the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex.
Kate opted to repeat the Diane von Furstenberg 'Lio' coat. Many readers will recognize the coat from previous Remembrance Sunday services. Kate debuted the piece in 2011 and wore it again in 2012.
The 'Lio' double breasted wool coat is from DVF's Fall/Winter 2008 collection.
It features storm flaps, decorative buttons and detachable soutache trim on the collar and cuffs.
Kate wore a new wide-brimmed hat today believed to be by Knightsbridge milliner, John Boyd.
The silhouette is very similar to the grey John Boyd chapeau worn for this year’s Commonwealth Day service in March.
Kate also donned a new pair of earrings. @AnnieElizabethN suggests the dazzling diamond and pearl drops are on loan from the Queen's royal collection. They are the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings each containing one large round diamond and four smaller ones, three baguette diamonds, and a Bahrain pearl dangling below.
Kate wore black gloves which are most likely her trusty Cornelia James 'Imogen' merino wool gloves.
The Duchess had her hair in a side chignon and wore a cluster of paper poppies which are offered by The Royal British Legion.
This was Kate's sixth Remembrance Sunday service. We'll conclude with a timeline graphic of her previous attendances.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Festival of Remembrance this evening.
The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts and it is usually attended by the Royal Family. It is organized by the Royal British Legion and is held every year on the eve of Remembrance Sunday.
William and Kate joined the Queen, Prince Philip and other senior members of the Royal Family at London's Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion's traditional televised service.
As expected, Kate wore an all-black ensemble.
She debuted the Temperley London 'Callas' evening coat. It must have been hanging in her closet for a couple of years because the piece is from the designer's pre-fall 2014 collection.
Here's a view of the back.
A black coat has a floral diamond jacquard fabric made from a blend of 41% Wool, 32% Polyester, 27% Acetate, and lined with 100% silk. The fitted jacket is secured with a button through front and features and gathered waist and A-line bottom. It is finished with a high neck.
Kate carried her black Pretty Ballerinas Velvet Bow Clutch which has also been hiding in her closet for sometime.
She has only carried it on two previous occasions. The first was at the Sun Military Awards in 2011, and the second for the War Horse premiere in 2012.
On her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Black Suede Pumps.
Kate accessorized with her Oscar de la Renta hammered gold-plated faux pearl earrings.
The Duchess did wear a poppy brooch in support of the Royal British Legion but unfortunately we were unable to get a good glimpse of it. It does appear to be one of Buckley London's designs which you can purchase from The Poppy Shop.
Tomorrow, Kate is expected to join members of the royal family for the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations led by Queen Elizabeth at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.

The Duchess of Cambridge made a series of private engagements on Friday. She visited Eastwood Park Prison in Gloucester to learn what support is available to women prisoners and their families with complex needs.
Kate's next appointment was with the Nelson's Trust Women's Centre as part of her ongoing work on addiction and mental health.
The organisation provides support to vulnerable women and works closely with Eastwood Park to provide ongoing support to women and their families, on departure from prison.
Yesterday's engagements follow a visit to HMP Send women's prison last September. These engagements reflect Kate's continued interest in social problems such as substance abuse, mental health, and family breakdown and what support can be offered to vulnerable families to help break the cycles at the heart of these issues.
Following a series of new outfits, Kate opted to repeat an ensemble for these private visits. She arrived wearing her sky blue Mulberry 'Paddington' wool-blend coat. You may recall we first got a glimpse of the coat when the Duchess was snapped boarding a helicopter on the grounds of Kensington Palace in February.
Underneath the coat, Kate wore an unidentified black turtleneck knit top we’ve seen on a few occasions, and her Dolce & Gabbana boucle wool blend skirt which debuted during her gig as guest editor of the Huffington Post UK earlier this year.
Kate accessorized the outfit with her favorite black suede combination of the Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch and Stuart Weitzman 'Power' Pumps.
She finished the look with with her Annoushka pearl/Kiki hoop earrings and a Royal British Legion traditional paper poppy.
I encourage you to visit the Royal British Legion Poppy Shop and buy a pin ahead of Remembrance Day!
UPDATE - 16th Jan 2017
New photos have emerged of the Duchess disembarking from a helicopter on her way to the engagements on 5th Nov 2016 (photo and ID via @theroyalsandi and @wwkd_official).
The large black tote is rendered in cross-grain calf leather and features a smooth external pocket. It has a contrasting navy suede lining, zip top closure, gold hardware, and removable internal pocket with zip top closure.

The Duchess of Cambridge hit the red carpet in London this evening for the World premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob. The movie tells the real-life story of a homeless busker James Bowen whose life was turned around by a stray ginger cat.
Before the premiere, the Duchess made a visit to the Working Title Films production company for a special screening of The Recovery Street Film Festival which features films made by former addicts and their loved ones about life in recovery from addiction.
Kate attended both events in her capacity as patron of Action On Addiction, a charity that helps those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse as well as their family and friends.
On the red carpet at the Curzon Mayfair theatre, the Duchess met the film's cast and crew including the feline star of the show, Bob.
Tonight, Kate continued her run of experimenting with new labels. She debuted an off-white maxi dress by Self-Portrait, a London-based brand loved by American celebrities including Beyonce, Olivia Palermo and Paris Hilton.
The US$640 gown from the label's Resort 2016 collection features a sheer crotchet bodice with a high neckline and modesty panel. A grosgrain band accents the waist and the pleated crepe skirt is finished with a sexy high side slit.
Unfortunately the maxi dress has sold out but is available to rent from Australian retailer Glam Corner. Furthermore, the design is available in black at Lane Crawford.
There is also a similar but more formal design in the current collection.
The popular label was founded by Han Chong, a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins fashion school. The school's alumni boasts some of Kate's favorite designers including Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane. Chong logged a good decade working at other fashion labels before launching Self-Portrait in 2013. Lace is a signature element of his designs and contemporary femininity runs through his collections. You can find the brand at UK's leading retailers including ASOS, Shopbop, MatchesFashion, MyTheresa, and Selfridges.
Kate pinned a red poppy brooch to her to chest in honour of Remembrance Day. She donned the Poppy® Collection Sparkle Brooch designed by Buckley London, a piece she first wore for the Remembrance Sunday service in 2013. You can buy genuine poppy brooches supporting the Royal British Legion from The Poppy Shop, Buckley London, and Marks & Spencer.
The tie in the colour of the brooch, the Duchess accessorized with her cranberry suede Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch bag and Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Royale Burgundy Suede Pumps.
She finished the look with her Oscar de la Renta hammered gold-plated faux pearl earrings.
The Duchess of Cambridge is scheduled to attend another red carpet event next week. She will join the Queen & members of the royal family for the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on 12th November.
