The Duchess of Cambridge has been announced today as the Royal Patron of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance, a charity that brings together over 100 organisations that support perinatal mental health.
The Duchess recorded a video message for Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week.

The Duchess of Cambridge appeared in a new video today to mark her patronage of the Rugby Football League, and England Rugby Union.
The patronages, which have been given to The Duchess by Her Majesty The Queen, closely align with Kate's longstanding passion for sport.

Today, The Duchess of Cambridge became Royal Patron of Family Action.
Her Majesty The Queen has passed the patronage to Kate having held the role for over 65 years. Her Majesty took the patronage over from Queen Mary in 1953. Family Action was founded in 1869 to help families facing difficult circumstances by giving them practical help and support. To mark her new patronage, The Duchess visited Peterley Manor Farm where she joined families and children supported by the charity taking part in Christmas activities.

Kensington Palace announced that The Duchess of Cambridge has today become the Patron of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS), taking over from the Queen, who had held the role for 67 years.
To mark the occasion, Kate attended a photography workshop for Action for Children, run by The RPS at Warren Park.
The RPS was founded in 1853 with the objective of promoting the art and science of photography. The Duchess has a longstanding interest in photography, and her patronage of The RPS will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people.

The Duchess of Cambridge added two new patronages to her portfolio today. Kensington Palace announced that Kate would become patron of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), and the Nursing Now campaign ahead of her visit to both organizations today.
Kate stepped out for the engagements in an all-blue ensemble. She debuted a mod-inspired contrast trim coat and a tonal blue maternity dress. According to The Mirror, both pieces are bespoke from Jenny Packham.
