REPLIKATE ROUNDUP
Below are my favourite repliKates of the week:
IF I WERE KATE'S STYLIST
I'm sure many of you would agree that having the role of Kate's stylist would be the best job in the world! Seriously, how much fun would it be to help Kate shop and experiment with new looks!? In this occasional segment, I showcase my daydream outfits for the Duchess!
I often see comments from readers that they would love to see Kate experiment with bolder choices in the footwear department. The trick to pulling off statement shoes is to keep the rest of your outfit simple with solid colours that complement the print. Whilst leopard print heels are not a style revolution they would be a perfect choice for the Duchess because they are timeless, elegant and project confidence.

My dear friend Giulia, a frequent contributor to Kate's Closet has kindly reviewed her recent gift of the Really Wild Cashmere Mix Cable Crew Jumper. You may recall the Duchess of Cambridge wore the red version for a visit to Haida Gwaii during the 2016 Canadian tour. Here's what Guilia has to say about the luxurious sweater:
I received this sweater as a gift and I couldn't be happier with it!
Packaging and shipping
It arrived in Italy after a bit more than one week and shipping costed £12.00. It comes inside a standard brown package that keeps safe the second real product's box. It is an amazing black box with the brand's name printed on it and two magnets to keep it closed, add an orange ribbon and it will be perfect if you want to give it to someone else as a gift (husbands take notes). The sweater is wrapped using white paper and sticky tags, all with Really Wild logo.
The sweater
So what do I think about the sweater? I would say just stunning. It is simply the softest, warmest and coziest garment I have ever had or seen. Even if it contains only 30% of cashmere and the rest is merino wool, the impression is absolutely the same as pure cashmere. It is made in Scotland and it is very thick. As you can see, I received the grey version, called by the brand "pearl". I would describe it as a light and bright grey that could go with everything without appearing boring or dull. I've also really appreciated the invisible seams; sometimes, especially on these thick sweaters, the seams are very voluminous and annoying, in this case they are completely plain and imperceptible. The cable motifs on the front and the ribs on the wrist, neck and on the lower border are perfectly made. The neckline is made also for those who usually dislike the classic turtleneck because it is wide, comfy and soft; it doesn't squeeze your neck and above all it is something different and pretty uncommon for its design.
Fit and size
It comes in S, M, L. I usually wear XS, UK6 or UK8 so the person that bought it for me chose S. It is very roomy so if you are between sizes then I would suggest to take the next size down (unless you love oversized looks).
It is without doubt the perfect sweater if you love to wear more layers underneath because you have room enough for a tank top and, for example, a shirt or an other thin sweater for the winter months.
A note about the price
It costs 195£ that is a considerable amount but I personally think you will be paid back for sure by the product's absolutely amazing quality. It is not one of those pieces that will go out of fashion in one or two seasons but something you can use year after year. So worth the price. BRAND BROWSING
Each week I like to devote a little time browsing the websites of Kate's favourite brands and designers. This week, many of the new season pieces from Dolce & Gabbana caught my eye. I came across these Duchess-worthy styles by the Italian fashion house:
